Make the Training Room a Default feature.

Hello everyone

I was hoping that WG would consider making the training room a default feature, and one that could be used for either training, or just silly fun. Since the game already has a fairly competent AI, why not allow one Iowa Class Battleship to fight it out against 15 Kuma's. Why not allow the Yamato go down in a blaze of Glory against 5-10 enemy Lexington Class aircraft carriers. The implementation of this feature couldn't be more simple. The bots are there, the maps are there. All you need to do is allow the player to pick his or her enemies and allies. No XP or Credits would be gained, and ship repair would be free. It'd just be a fun thing to add to the game, and a fun place to mess around with or without friends.

So WG, what do you say?

Be nice if it was added as a defualt. To me it's another one of those basic features that I think WG has been silly not adding to the game, along with stuff like replays being toggled in the settings and basic clan features.

Unfortunately, because it has taken so long I highly doubt the training room will become an official feature.

 

Now, if you want to enable it here's some suggestions:

It also has limited space. It really sucks when I want to test something and there's no rooms available on public test because a dozen people are AFKing in their rooms on a one hour game clock.

It's bad for the server, it's a holdover from the alpha days and the developers are intending to replace it with a more fleshed out, stable version of it.

Same with replays, same reason they're not enabled by default.

In my own tests, the match stays allocated even if people leave the battle. So lets say you start a 1 hour match and leave after 20 minutes, it will stay open for the remaining 40 minutes even though you've left and got the fake draw. Either that or in PT someone started a new room immediately after I left... four times...

Sure would be nice to have this feature readily available. Particularly for those interested in working on team tactics. Thanks for posting up your thoughts. O7
