So I put my 15 point Fletcher captain in my Clemson, respec'd to AFT + DE (BFT, BOS, LS, Super) - and went out and enjoyed (raged through) a match to see how effective AFT + DE in the Clemson is. Verdict. It's bloody disgusting.

 

6 Kills (Kraken,) High Caliber, Confederate, 131K Damage, 2287 base xp.  [ http://wowreplays.com/Replay/12976 ]

I wouldn't be surprised if they nerf the Clemson and Isokaze in a future patch, since they only see +1 MM now.

My clemson has become my new seal clubber.  For the most part.  If I don't get over confident I wind up with 90K+ damage games.  It's a lot of fun to roll up on a couple of unsuspecting BB players and give them a "friendly" hello from my torp launchers.  It's a situation where I go in club a few seals then back to higher tier games.

Wait, you are using BoS on a DD???!!!111eleven11!!??!?!  Obviously you have no clue what you are doing.  Were you not aware that being forced to take BoS was going to be the bane of DD captains everywhere?  You should turn in your He-Man CV Haters' Club card immediately!

Well, just had a 4 kill Wickes game, so Clemson's older brother's NOT that decrepit just yet! And that was using a captain not even close to what you used!

 

As an experiment in what extent someone even as spudly-do-right as I can be at times has learned to play the game. I took the zero-skill captain I was forced to buy with Arizona, put him in a fully upgraded Colorado, did all the battles needed to retrain him and start earning skill, and have done reasonably well in it; at least reasonably well for me.

Well, I've got it set for max quality at 1900x1200. But there's some compression when they are uploaded to WOWSReplays...maybe?

Yeah the thot crossed my mind also...

+/- 1 MM gonna see a lot of nerfs next update l think you can count on it. T3-4 ships perhaps more so.

Nice game good aggressive play there ...grats!

 

It's what I do. I use my giant balls as battering rams, and I hammer the enemy team into a brutal submission. I have no blood to drive around in sneaky boats.
