So i spent 20 bucks on a card from wal-mart brought it home, scratched it off, put the code in the activate wargaming code, first time i got "invalid format" as i put it in as xxx xxx xxxx format, then "invalid Code" when i tried the xxx-xxx-xxxx. So am i out 20 bucks or is the code redemption system just broken?

strange, they always worked for me.  Check your 1's and 0's for I's and O's maybe?

edit:  beyond that, I have had good luck getting other code resolutions fixed with CS.

and looks like i have to call support, i just got code invalid even though i followed the instructions, the bit that says "for further assistance or instructions, please visit: http://www.worldofwarships.com/incomm "

I know when I got them from places other than EB-Games/Gamestop you sometimes had to wait 24 hours for the code to "activate". It should say so on the receipt if you still have it.

try no spaces, no dashes, just the code.  is how i always entered them.

(walmart usually has them activated near immediately.)

This happened to me with a number of WG's codes.  I found out typing it exactly helped, so if it's all caps, use all caps.  Beyond that, just checking between 8/B or 0/O or 1/I and the like, and maybe throw in the "-" as well.

So if it said ABC-123-DRMI, type it exactly, caps included.
