Anyone have an Idea when the German BBs are unlocked?

Title says it all =P But for further explanation...

 

What patch do you think the German BBs are unlocked OR how long does it take for one patch to come out OR does it take more than one patch to implement new ships?

Barring any serious issues, I'd be tempted to say either in the next update (0.5.10) or maybe sooner in a mini-patch (though I wouldn't bet on the latter).

I'd think that a mini-patch release would require that the BB's were good as is, no problems.  And that the only purpose of a mini-patch would be to release them from supertesters-only status to full release status.  But in all honesty, I just don't see this as very likely.

I'm going to guess they'll be released on August 17 as that is first day of Gamescom and they typically release on Wednesdays anyway. But I can hope they'll release it a week earlier.

Historically, you get one per nation, not per line. We did not get a port slot when Russian cruisers came out.

That's pretty sad.... So basically if you don't pay for more port slots, you have 10 (?) port slots for 12 ship lines. So basically, you can't even have one ship from each line. I wish they would give more port slots or make port slots available for credits.

Yes, they do. Slots for new tanks in WoT cost gold, so it's no surprise. They have offered port slots on sale recently also, apparently you missed it.

The fact that you're asking this question is a strong case for their being enough market to sell slots and make a profit on them. So, yes.

Seeing how I just dropped $178.45 on Internet/Cable for a month......  And a port slot is $1.50....

I guess it's all a matter of perspective.

Spend most of my spare time playing WOWS with the top rated Internet service.  There is no potato thing going on with my rig:  Wall mounted screen, 4 foot column speakers, surround stereo..

Yes, I can watch blue-ray or HDTV, but.... sorry...  WOWS is the best channel I watch.

.. so I understand there is some kind of election thing going on...  have fun with that.

Because:

 

A)  That's not the way WG does it.

 

B)  The number isn't a decimal number.  The format is (major rev #).(minor rev #)

 

C) IIRC, WoT is on something like rev 9.15.1

Same way that WOT is on patch 9.15 now.  When talking about patches, the first number (5) will only change on major changes to what is being patched (typically major features added or reworked) and the second number (10) will change to zero if a major change takes place or will increment if the patch is not a major change can can increment to 10 or above (theoretically you could get 100 or more minor patches).

 

Patch numbering does not follow the decimal system which is why 5.10 ≠ 5.1.
