Microsoft C++ redistributable

I have a bunch of these C++ redistributable programs sitting on my PC(one is a 2005 version!?!). I think they're all from Skyrim and Skyrim moddding, but I can't be 100% sure.

 

Does anyone else know if WoWs uses any C++ redistributale programs? I'm looking to know if I can uninstall most or all of them safely.

 

For reference, here are the other games I have on my PC:

Terraria

Dark Souls: Prepare to die edition(with the fix for steam, so it doesn't use games for windows live anymore, it's called -dsptde-2.0-)

Valkyria Chronicles

War Thunder

Warframe

Is there a reason? There are 9 of them total, with the latest version being 2012.

 

I don't recall having these on the PC when I bought it a couple of years ago.

Needed to play some games. What in specific? I don't know, but a lot of games require them to run. Just don't touch any semi-important installs. Besides, the install size is so small that it shouldn't even matter.

I was told by support you needed these:

• NET Framework 4.0
• Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86)
• Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86)
• Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86)
• Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86)
• Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4
• Visual C++ 2013
• MSXML 4.0 Service Pack 3

Even if you do uninstall some of them, they are VERY easy to reinstall. So don't be worried if you ever get a (Therema?) error.

​You want all these libraries they don't take up much space and you run programs that need them.  I install them before games do, after I reinstall windows.  You might right click and run the repair on them, it's quick and easy.

Windows has multiple copies stored in multiple places x64 x86.  It can get confusing so I put it all in first, before games go wanting to.
