I was just getting used to all the Mikasas in the low tier games and now I just got through with a game in my Murmansk that had a Flint and a Bayern on my team and a Dunkerque on the enemy team. At least we all get to see what some of these ships can do before they go on the market.

Have you tried the Atlanta recently though? There have been some tweaks to make it a bit less fragile, but now that it has radar it's a great DD hunter. I played 4 games with it tonight and only the second was the early death I'd become used to with it. Had almost 100k damage in one game.

Bear in mind that anyone in a flint has ranked out three times in ranked battles so will have a better idea on what to do with the ship than someone who just buys an Atlanta will out the door.
