I don't know, something has changed.  Yesterday, I saw NO bots on the player side, and the MM actually waited for a while before just dropping us in a match.  I wonder if they gave it a tweak?

 

  It's still a 30 second max, but it at least waits that 30 secs now, instead of just going with whoever it finds in 5 seconds like it used to.

 

  I thought this was going to be a "bot rampage" or Super Spud team thread.   That's a hell of a MM shart there, OP.   I'd have gotten that team while driving a BB though.

 

  Still see the occasional game where the bots get all the RNG luck, AND their standard tactics are the perfect counter to what the players are doing.  Those SUCK...  They may not be smart, but they are aggressive, have good aim, and have some advantages- and occasionally this allows them to blow right through whomever is in their way.

What, too many people and not enough bots?   Or perhaps the overabundance of DD's in pvp, has landed in pve?

 

Low populations playing PvE result in skewed distributions of ship classes. (i.e. 6 DDs, 1 CL, 1 CV)

Bots these days tend to shoot very well, can dodge torps better than most human unicums, and focus on killing DDs above all else.  They also blindly drive into battle with the subtlety of a bull in a china shop.  The key is factoring in the former when setting them up in the latter.

 

In the MM you posted, if the human DD drivers aren't a match for the DD Bots, the outcome for a CV player is pretty much determined.

Not so much about a low population, its the queue time is way too short at 30 seconds. With the old timer of 90 seconds it was much better.

yeah, seriously, even with a loss I would still be happy that it was a full team of humans....very rare...and thank you WG for not fixing that issue about skewed teams in co-op, the player base really appreciates you listening to us...as the sound of crickets fill the room...

If the enemy has DDs, so you do you.  I can see why that may be annoying, but at least its a mirror matchup.

In the past 1 or 2 weeks, I have seen more strange type of team compositions in co-op than previously.

1 BB and the rest DDs.

All cruisers.

1 DD and the rest cruisers.

6 BBs and 1 cruiser.

Also seen 1 CV and rest DDs.  I really felt sorry for that CV in that match.

Not to mention the issue with MM needlessly placing bots on the human team.

You do know the bots default to DDs about 70% of the time anyways right? Start crying to me when you end up being the only battleship against 7 DDs with your team already dead because they were bots too. Now if only wargaming would get their heads out of their asses and realize that cutting the queue time for co-op is a braindead stupid idea and whoever came up with it should be fired.
