The Wyoming, when I first started the American Battleship line, I was such a scrub, but now that I have a common understanding of how to play the game, that ship is a real boss to play, and I really enjoy it!

 

I had to play it on the PT, and it was just a monster on there, so I decided to buy her back, definitely not disappointed.

secret op ship, the potentail broadside damage is impressive at its teir,   the only way  to make it better is to give it teir 9 mods and call it the ark beta

hated the colorado enough to free exp it.... and i dont free exp ships usualy....

A lot of people on the forum will say "yes", she's a very different beast from her state in CBT/OBT.

sail with an cruiser nearby and the only drawback to the ark is negated.... and you only see a CV one out of 3 matches with it

even more hilarious is all the times carriers have come after my Arkansas and completely whiffed their drops due to the damn thing's maneuverability.

because its not the ship they wanted, they want something that takes no effort to be decent in. and with the old overwhelming superioriority of CV back in the day there were 2  3 cvs in a match at a time. not nessesarily fun for a ship with 0 aaa

 A free ship with T9 Upgrade slots (& faster turrets).

 

Mainly because they got hung up on the bit where WG initially posted that it would have AA but then it didn't, also it doesn't get the Silver earning bonus of a proper Premium & some people just don't like the low-tier US BB gameplay.

Without CV the Ark Beta is a very good ship. Consider t9 modules in a t4 ship plus a 15 point captain. Rofl stomp if you are top tier.

The Colorado? Excellent BB. Just l2p.

She's a real bully.

 

She's a good ship but it's important to remember her weaknesses to really succeed.

 

Wyoming can really bully any cruiser or battleship she runs into, but only if the battleships are her tier or lower, or not angled. An angled Kongo will turn the tables and bully Wyoming all day, every day, at any range. Even up close where Wyoming could more reliably pen, Kongo moves so fast that Wyoming's turrets can't keep up. Don't let it get near you, her secondaries are way better than Wyoming's, too.
