I've been there many times friend,

Usually after the third consecutive loss, I'll call it quits for a few hours or go play something else. It's best for your sanity to just know when you're about to reach your limit put the game away before you start getting toxic.

At the end of the day, it's a game, losing's part of it so why not lose gracefully and ram some poor sod to death?

i try not to focus on it when i lose, but rather try to look at the bright side.

if i start to notice how often i'm getting stuck on one of those teams, it makes for a salty Shamalan. that's usually when i call it quits and play something else.

it is a game, after all. doesn't mean i won't try to win, but i try not to let losing get me down.

losing 10+ in a row can bring out the salt in anyone though. we feel your pain.

Sometimes I have to satisfy myself with my own actions and be content with my credit and XP accumulated. I'm always closer to an objective.

Recently I worked my way through the New Orleans, no easy or enjoyable task. Now I grinding the Baltimore. I must need my head examined, right? I hope, by the time I get the DM that I have gained some proficiency in handling the Baltimore, and that it has prepared me for the DM. It's all in the getting there.

usually 3-5 losses in a row. especially if most of those games, you see your team just being useless. I haven't played in like 2 days because of this weekend. -_-

I usually pop in day to day for a few games, but then again, it might be because I am training myself in the Mig-21 for DCS.

Depends on my mood. Sometimes I can breeze through 14 losses because I laugh about the bad RNG, other times I'm grumbling about potatoes after the 3rd loss.

It's all in whether your fun depends on winning as a team. I get mine from doing all I can, so win or lose doesn't bother me much unless trying to get the win and the 50% to winning XP.

It depends on how well I'm doing, not in terms of wins but in terms of damage output, cap control, etc. Losing, say, eight in a row isn't fun, but if I was handing out a lot of damage, fighting hard for caps, and placing first or second on the scoreboard, I won't give up. When I'm playing really badly, though, about three in a row is enough for me to call it a night, because that's when I get frustrated, and that means I'm only going to get worse.

When my driver crashes on me almost 5 times in a row, 3 of them in a Fletcher, just because someone convinced me I can play games like WoWS on a laptop (lol no.)

As soon I am +2 or 3 in wins vs losses, I quit. If I am not near that after many games, I quit. Still trying to keep my win rate up.

Played mostly Udaloi, still trying to figure that ship out, but finally got the hang of it in the last two games. Had great teams today that totally carried me. Started the day with 44% win rate and 25K average damage in Udaloi, both well below server average. Embarrassing! Ended the day at 52% win rate in Udaloi, with... 23K avg damage. Go figure.

Thanks, all you guys who played with me. Shoutout to iEatDaGrudge, who won with me on Hotspot, he was awesome.

Winning or losing doesn't really matter to me, as long as I'm getting better than 50k and a kill.

Today has been rough, I'm ready to call it quits for the night.

Latest game - 133k DMG & Kraken Unleashed on the losing team, and yet somehow i still managed to take top base experience.

Oh and it's apparent the team killers are out in force tonight, i was lucky enough to have 4 of them in the same game, and sure enough they were throwing their torps at our friendlies.

When I start responding to trolls or when I get killed by CVs match after match, usually about then I shut off the game.

Like right now..

I am too stubborn - I generally just keep playing, even with bad streaks.

Sometimes thou I think people also keep the bad streaks going, once you think that your going to lose x game cause you lost the last x game's - just having that negative though can actually help you lose as well.

I normally find I start doing that to myself when having a good day to 60-80%+ wins - that little voice in the head starts telling me MM is going to try and really fek me over soon.

Not to break out the tin foil hat, but i've been on an epic lousy streak lately.  Even my go to ships (Phoenix, Murmansk and Roon) are stinking it up for me lately.  Check my sig . . . the numbers don't lie.

I'm no unicum, but maybe the OP is on to something.

Same way there is a 1st and last in racing. Someone has to lose or its not a race.

It happens when EVERY ship on the board is faster than you and your team steamrolls the opposition before you can even get in range. I had a game last night in Arizona that i did ~8600 damage. I think i fired 4 salvos, all at extreme range. We won on points and it was 9v2 at the end.
