Just over 140k. Not too much

Remember kids, Russian ships are balanced and the Soviet Navy is the pinnacle of naval technological development through all of history.

That exact fight Gearing did much more damage than me. I think he doubled or close to it. 3800 XP (G) vs 2500 XP (Kh / me)

 

Ru DDs cons:

1. Have no stealth to match any other destroyers

2. Nearly no invisifire zone

3. Inferior torpedoes in every aspect: range, damage, reload time and at t10 - speed

4. Bad-bad-bad maneuverability and turning circle - I can't dodge even 10% as much of incoming shells as on Fletcher

Pros:

1. Greater speed

2. Great guns

 

They are balanced. Just have completely different play style. Some people can't play Ru DDs, some can't play IJN and some USN. Somewhat easier, yes, just point and shoot, but not unbalanced

But can you send your rounds into orbit and still get hits?

 

Yes I have the USS Cape Canaveral Gearing as well

Lol when can the USN DDs actually do something... I swear those 127mm guns are like, designed by NASA as the first space program.

A. USN DDs aren't meant to fight max range, they perform just fine at close and medium range. B. Have you seen the state of the Kagero and Shimakaze lately?

My Khaby range is 15.6 km, I think it is max. My Fletcher range is 15.5 km and I still can mount a module to add another kilometer or so (10%). Yes, Fletcher will not hit a mountain at that range but it is not less.

A khab can reliably hit at 15.6, a Fletcher, good luck.  Plus the guns on the Khab hit harder and she has 8.

But it's a trade off for stealth and ability to land 10 torps into an enemy battleship. Chipping of bits with guns is another approach. Not better or worse, just different

Mostly damage. He sank 3 battleships with 100% HP and 1 shimakaze (I helped a bit but he did most of the job) and 1 cap.

Great for the OP to do so well; but whatever... Call it jealousy, it probably is; but I'll never understand how an enemy team ever lets someone survive and/or go unpunished long enough to rack up so many hits...

 

This is basically scoring a hit every 2.3 seconds for the ENTIRETY of a 20 minute game.
