So, this weekend has absolutely sucked.  Spent a good chunk of Saturday trying to finish off the Nicholas grind so I could take advantage of the sale on Farragut.  I think I lost 10-15 games in a row.  Mostly just horrid teams, tho I pulled some bonehead stunts myself that probably didn't help.  I've hated Nicholas from day one, could never seem to get in rhythm with that ship.

 

Then, while I had planned on waiting until next weekend to get Kirov when hopefully VMF ships are on sale, I decided that I didn't want to buy back Omaha to take a shot at winning a Gremy.  So bought Kirov and my luck with that ship hasn't been any better.

 

So what caps off a great losing streak?  I get into a battle with what finally looks like a competent team.  Lining up my first salvo at long range and the game locks up, hard.  Complete reboot required.  By the time I get back in, I'm sunk, without firing a shot.  And the best part, the team wins the battle, so my +50% XP nets a whopping 186xp.  You've *got* to be kidding me.

I've often felt that dailies would be much better if you had to be in the top 5 or top half of the team's base XP earners so that you could avoid this sort of thing, whether it's just from having a bad game or getting DC'd or possibly TK'd, or some other reason for ending up with a terrible game on the ship's daily XP bonus.

Enh, It doesn't happen often enough to be that big of a deal. I just needed to kvetch a bit.  I shouldn't have been trying so hard.  Win percentage dropped about 3% in the last week.
