I really don't get why people have to be so critical of someone just trying to praise a ship they like.

I mean imagine how wargaming feels, they work hard to make ship models, just for people to complain about how bad they are.

I for one love the Krasny Krym.

Also nice game OP ^^

There is nothing wrong with the modeling. The ship is simply not good. It's not impossible to have a good battle in it or enjoy it, but it's going to be an uphill struggle when there are ships like Murmansk, Kirov and Omaha around.

Nice game OP. Can you post the other screens from that game? Curious to see what you faced to get that result.

I will not buy premium POS here, ever.

 Learnt my lesson in WoT.

Premiums are 'Lollipops for Suckers'.

Which is why you own the following premiums?

Iwaki Alpha

Arkansas Beta

Diana

Albany

Everyone of those ships were given away for participating in the game.  The Diana has always been given away as an award or incentive and only recently became available for purchase on the NA server.

No way for me to know if he bought the Diana or not, but I get your point. Regardless, he has multiple games in them and they are premiums still. Plus, if everyone only played free, WG would go bust fast.

... And Cleveland, Budyonny, Molotov, Aoba, Nurnberg, Myoko, Pensacola (Ha!  Pensacola bullying someone!), Schors, and Yorck

Oh, and don't forget the BBs...

I saw an enemy Krym in a battle today. It didn't do much. When I see more I will just farm citadels off of them in the Hentai and Hentai Extra. Kikikiki. Seriously why is this ship even T5? Just make her T4 in the tech tree and take out the Svietlana in her original form. But man, the battle results you posted, it would be considered a very good battle for me in the Taco and Taco 2.0.

The Krasny Krym is an excellent ship. I purchased one, and I quite like it.

The Krasny is receiving hate from people who don't understand that this ship is not suitable for yolo, suicide-prone antics. It is a battleship/carrier escort. It has decent AA, and makes short work of destroyers. Not to mention its amazing artillery range which keeps other battleships burning on water. The rate of fire is really fun, and like the St Louis, it's made of guns. The secondaries are like OMFG BEAST MODE ENABLED. I was surprised to receive 3 "Close Quarter Expert" medals in 2 hours of playing. The secondaries absolutely own DD's that get too close trying to ambush the BB's it escorts.

Its similar to an Atlanta in premise, and can be successful provided there isn't a borderline r3t7rd captaining it. Everybody said the Campbeltown sucked balls too. I've found that destroyer to be awesome. I love it as much as my Blyskawica.

I have had some good rounds in the ship. My only complaint is that the shell firing arc feels like an American destroyer versus the standard Soviet arc.

To win in The Krasny, escort BB's, stay glued to their sides, use them as a "meat shield". The strengths of the Krasny perfectly compliment the weaknesses of BB's...

To summarize: The KK is highly situational limiting her abilities.

Got it.  Thanks. I don't need another situational Atlanta in my lineup nor do I want a ship whose 'rules of engagement' is dictated by what my team's BBs want to do.  Pass.

I will say this about the Krispy Krym.

It's in need of a serious Rate-of-Fire buff, because the guns do so little damage and arc so high for the relatively slow rate of fire she has.

To each their own opinion.

However a skilled KK captain and a semi-competent BB captain in tandem make for quite a potent combination. I've had some pretty good success with the KK. I think people are being a bit too judgemental because the ship is unique and requires a different train of thought (compared to a brawling CA like the Atago) when playing her...

Please define skilled KK captain.  I have ~52% WR, and average almost 37k damage/game in the pile of crap over 50+ games.  I don't confuse success with the ship being good.  I make it work against poor players.  That doesn't mean the ship is good.  It's a pile of crap that doesn't belong at T5.

I apologize if I came off as dismissive.  I just can't get behind a premium ship whose success is strongly defined by what others are doing.  Surely there are other premiums that are in the same boat (hue)... for example, I love my Kutuzov immensely and even though it isn't in a position to carry games most of the time (thereby relying on the team), it doesn't have to stick closely to any particular ship to be successful.  I can't see the value in a ship that has to be often anchored to another ship to perform.  Not only does that speak volumes of its weakness, but it also sucks dry the "fun-factor".  Then again, I don't do co-op.  Given the variety of other premium ships available, I don't see the value in the KK at this point in time.

I have purchased and regretted quite a few ships (KK not included, ty LWM).  Thanks to Santa, I will not be selling more of them since I got quite a few back (face in palm).
