Need some ship suggestions for the Mikasa missions

It is a tier 2 BB after all! So I went "low" with Wyoming(mostly), St. Louis, and Omaha (and got it done in under 4 days with some effort and some time).

I suggest tier 1 Hermelin and Orlan. Hermelin is better imo since faster reload. Buy a new captain for them since its a cheap 10k, and get bft, last stand, vigilance and even aft if you get there, but I didn't. I farmed 150 kills in 2 days using only tier 1 ships. Spam AP since citadels exist (HE may be better when firing at an Orlan since Orlan has citadel armor of a DD so HE cits are easy). It may get boring after a while, but you can farm lots of achievements. I got something like 5 or 6 Krakens, even some games with 6 kills. I also got the occasional "Its just a flesh wound" and lots of confederates and high-calibers. Solo warrior is also easy to get since derp teams.

I tried T1 ships the first day, but went back to the ships I love to play, the Imperator Nikolai and Texas with a few Warspite games.  When I got the Arizona I played her a bit as well.

Play what ship you are comfortable with.  I also found that if I push for kills, I don't get them.  Perhaps you're pushing too hard and need to relax and focus on damage.  The kills should come.

Here you go: your statistics on Kill/Death. Obviously from top to bottom is your choice. Just something you're more comfortable (because it's more of marathon than race)

 

I feel like K/D ratio is not that important, because you could have a ratio of 5:1, and still only kill one ship per game. In my opinion, the average kills is more important.

Also, i prefer not to go to tier 1, because i feel bad for the new players.   I prefer tier 4 where i don't have to feel guilty.
