The Arizona nerf is why Imperator Nikolai and Gremmy won't be nerfed.

Because look at the outrage.

People paid money for the Imperator Nikolai. How dare they think about nerfing them.

Hey, the fault is on them for not testing long enough. I have over $1,500 rapped up in WG... I quit tanks and one of the reasons was they were nerfing my premiums. They start that with ships then I'm out of here. I'll charge back too... Because I wont care if my account is banned or not.

When you pay for something that is what you should get at the minimum.

Arizona wasn't nerfed after release to the public.

There is nothing proving this other than the word of the NA Producer (which can hold a variable amount of weight depending on your personal beliefs).

Then show me that the ship was changed after release.

Datamining shows that the sigma has changed from 2.0 to 1.8. Something clearly changed in the game files.

Show me visual proof.

I'm just following your example and not taking someone's word for it.

Datamining is literally running a script through the game files to extract data.

What more could you possibly want.

The script literally checks 2 different sets of data to see what has changed.

And WG has never officially published any of this data because they know that people will freak out about it.

So you will never be satisfied.

8.2          Acquiring Virtual Goods.  You may accrue Virtual Goods in a variety of ways.  Wargaming may distribute Virtual Goods in exchange for taking certain actions (either directly within the Services, or in connection with a third party service), for a fee, or without any fee or required action, in its sole discretion.  Wargaming may charge fees for the right to exercise rights associated with Virtual Goods.  You agree that you do not “own” the Virtual Goods and that Wargaming has the absolute right to manage, regulate, control, modify and/or eliminate such Virtual Goods in its sole discretion, in any general or specific case, and that Wargaming will have no liability to you based on its exercise of such right.  Wargaming allows you to accumulate and manage your Virtual Goods, and may use terms such as "buy" and "sell" to refer to the grant or transfer of rights to use the Services. Use of terms such as “buy” or “sell” does not indicate any ownership right.

There ya go. Wargaming has the legal right to do whatever it wants with premium content.

And chargebacks can be considered fraud depending on the circumstances, you know?

And please show the value in 0.5.7, which is the version when it was released. Not 0.5.8 PT version.

Imagine if you changed the word Arizona to Imperator Nikolai. Would people fight for her to remain as she is?

That's typically considered fraud and your credit card company won't let you do it anyway.

Not to mention the person who posted the finding has a good track record. It's not like it's some random person.

As was said, ball is in WG's court now to respond to the accusation. Either the data miner somehow made a mistake, someone who was working on the 5.8 update made a mistake, or WG stealth nerfed a premium ship.

That's not five years.

Secondly, how does pointing out a fact make me look silly? I'd like to know.

Oh wait, it's 2016, and pointing out facts is politically incorrect.

Look at Taichunger, the Voice of Reason. ;)  Actually a very interesting point.  Until today's update, the Arizona data was for the version that was being tested, right?  But if they decided from that testing that rolling back her sigma was necessary, it would not have been made live until today, unless they did an emergency patch.  Which, given the current crapstorm, probably should have been done.  So let's say for argument that the datamining is correct, and WG had decided it needed to go with 1.8 sigma for Arizona, but they decided to sell her a couple of days early, thinking "no one will notice in a day or two..."  Pretty colossal PR blunder, given how hard they've worked of late to improve their reputation.

Is it forgivable?  Well, for me, sure.  I frankly don't care about her sigma value.  I haven't bought Arizona yet, and I'm not certain I will, but it has nothing to do with her sigma.  If anything, this hue and cry only makes me want to buy it more than before.  But I'm odd like that.

long story short it's the way your shells converge on where you exactly fired after a salvo, ships with good sigma are ships like warspite.
