I took my Gremmy out to try and work on my Captain (he's 13 skill points, I want him at 15pts) and also work on improving my DD game play. Mixed results there. But after several hours of playing off and on, I noticed a pattern. See if you can see it. And the real sad thing is that I've already unlocked the Amagi. I was just playing the Nagato for funsies.

I love Amagi and North Carolina though. The only tier 9 I've gotten to is Baltimore though, and I hate it so very much. Gameplay up there is so obnoxious. I'm still looking forward to Izumo and Iowa regardless.

Despite what the populace says the Izumo CAN be a good ship, but it's situational. It's really only in the game to Yamato can be a Tier X rather than an overpowered Tier IX

I also have the Gremy. Dunno why I don't spam that or Murmansk.....I guess I just dislike tier 5 and below.

Mouse, you got nothing to be ashamed of here. Honestly speaking, tiers 2 through 8 are the most fun (at least for me) and anything higher is just....imho...not worth it and over rated really. The most important thing is, you play what ever the heck you like the most, even if that means its mid tiers. For myself, I have next to no intention of going any higher than tier 8 on any line at all. (maybe the Iowa for history and collection sake...maybe...) Just doesn't appeal to me. I agree with the fluffy, when I'm just playing for fun I'm almost always in my ARP Kongou, once the tiers get too high people start to get competative and start telling you to kill yourself because you don't listen to their arm-chair commander orders

Tier 9 is just no fun sometimes. Usually when the trolls decide to ruin everyone's night in the high tiers by divisioning three Yamatos together. Yeah, grinding a tier 9 cruiser when that happens is just all the fun in the world. And yet, sadly, I'm doing it to myself AGAIN -- I'm working on the Dmitry Donskoi right now. And I've already done the Baltimore (shudder), the Ibuki (which was somehow even less fun than the Baltimore), and the Roon (that one-forward-two-aft turret arrangement Makes Me Sad). And I've also done the Iowa. And the Izumo. And the Fletcher. And the Udaloi. And the Kagero. And I'm working on the Essex. I'm not to the Taiho yet, but I'm just finishing fully outfitting the Shokaku, so in the next month or so, I'll be on the Taiho. And I still OWN all of them. ... I'm a sick person. I think most people get bored of the game or run into a hard pay wall around tier 6 and then stop playing. Only the most hardcore naval battle lovers with money stay around for high tiers. You hardly see any of previous ARP ships around. They used to be in almost every game, and now they show up maybe once a week. People just stop playing the game. Until T6, the ships are terrible with few exceptions.

20 Adm_Leo_von_Caprivi Members 71 posts 70 battles Report post #25 Posted June 3, 2016 I cannot tell you how mad I was at the end of this match. First off...IM IN A KAWACHI!! what the heck am I doing still being alive after entering the battle? Second...LOOK HOW GOOD I DID! Jezuz my back is killing me from all this carry! Third...I my last salvo was IN THE AIR and it was PERFECTLY going to destroy the last enemy BB...but his salvo hit me first...darn Kawachi and its AGES of reload. Fourth...after all that carry and awesomeness...546XP...really? How long must I suffer this torture before I can move on to Myogi and Kogou? Seppuku seems like a REALLY fun option after this tbh...now I'm remembering why I stopped playing WoWs again...and ive only been back for 4 days Well...rant over...
