Not to mention responses like this on Day 1 of a patch (I mean mods really?).

We the NA office in particular was on a three day weekend for Veteran's Day. This is also, and I'm being perfectly honest with you so I hope you can appreciate it, a lower priority item.

It will get fixed. Some patience is needed.

I do understand that pigeon, i'm not angry about that. i understand it was a holiday and there were larger issues to address, it was the response we got that got me angry. It was immediatly assumed to be a mods issue on day 1 of a patch. that is just plain ludicrous. I'm glad you guys are looking into it and I'm happy about that just saying next time give the community the benefit of the doubt not the 'it was mods' response that we got. Sorry if i sounded antagonistic or accusing that was not my intent. I just wanted to know that Wargaming had seen known about the issue, heck even a tweet saying something like 'There are reports of problems with the voices in the latest patch. We are looking into it." would of been fine but we got nothing. Then the micropatch happened that fixed the operations issues but never even made mention of the voice problem even being looked at. That is what got myself and other frustrated. i'm willing to wait as long as possible for a fix, but i need to know that you know of the problem. We didn't get that kind of response just silence and when we finally did get a response my frustration came out. Again i apologize for sounding antagonistic and accusational, i was just frustrated and my emotions showed up in my response. I'm very glad the issue is being looked into and will hopefully be fixed soon. Thank you for telling us it was being looked into @Pigeon_of_War.

Hey @Pigeon_of_War my friends and I have an idea for a game mode, where you fight to take objective, when objective is taken the map expands to next objective until you reach the end of map and win the match. I think it would add more fun to the game if this is possible in the game engine. What do you think?

1 CV vs 0 CV absolutely doesn't happen anymore. CVs are locked into mirror matching, that's why occasionally you get a battle with less than 12 per team (even in peak hours) due a CV having been in queue for longer than 5 minutes.

All of those other problems do sometimes happen though, and absolutely shouldn't.

Is it possible to have a vote on a ship to return to the shop? I would like to see the return of the Okhotnik especially. I think this would be a cool idea as more and more new players join this game (such as myself) and never got the opportunity to buy some ships that have long sailed away. 

 

I think a vote would be a cool and interactive idea, but again, it is possible? Thanks! 

EDIT: I need to mention due to the new Steam playerbase, this would be a perfect time to reintroduce some old prem shop ships back.

Hey Pigeon,

How about in the future, working in the function of giving us the ability to give signal flags & modules  to clan mates (maybe in the clan port screen, like in a warehouse or some such); or sell them back for credits, etc.

I have a clan mate who plays CV mostly, and I play BB's and cruisers.  So it would be awesome if I could give him my flooding flags, and he can give me the speed boost or AA flags or some such.

There should be a way for clan mates to be able to swap flags and such to help each other out.

Also, module swap between clan mates would be helpful..  An example is that my clan m8 got a Smoke Generator the other day in his super container . . . which would have been awesome for me in my RN cruisers, but useless for him in the CV.

Hey @Pigeon_of_War I saw this thread.

Niko's comment in particular struck me so i have an idea. Invisible/ non-visual change camos. people can get the 'proper' ships they want (as Niko stated) but still get the benefits. i think it's a good idea.

Hey Pigeon,

Any chance we'll be able to get a separate reporting category in the WG API for pre- and post-0.6.14 versions of the USN CVs? Like how Fubuki, etc. used to have a (<date) attached to their older versions? It would help the community make sense of the stats we see on popular reporting sites, which otherwise lump the versions before and after the change. Warships.today has a nice feature for looking only at the last 2 weeks, but not all of them do.

One thing (have to be a rare sighting of course possibly close to Halloween) how about The Flying Dutchman occasionally and randomly appearing during a battle and adding a special event or happening?    Just a thought and what game would be more appropriate ?

Hello Pigeon,

What are the chances to see one of the Agano-class IJN cruisers or the Oyodo coming in game? These are very special vessels. :)


The Agano-class cruisers were the successors of the good ol' Yubari. Like the Yubari, it had 610mm centerline-mounted torpedoes (although 2x4 instead of 2x2,) with abominatrocious launching angles. One of them escorted the Yamato in its final mission and took a beat.

In-game, it could be a fragile and stealthy Tier 5 (?) cruiser with a high risk-high reward torpedo armament.

The Oyodo is an unique design it itself, as it is the only IJN cruiser (in my knowledge) not to have been designed with torpedoes nor rear turret. Instead, it featured a large hangar (6 planes) and huge amount of AA.
In-game, it could be the Tier 5 (?) AA support cruiser with a low profile and poor armor, with the ability to launch two floatplanes at a time (three with the DCCA skill). AA-wise, its 100mm guns (those found on the Akizuki) providing a whooping 83 dps at 5km, pluis 18X25mm barrels. In its 1945 configuration, it even had 52x25mm barrels in exchange of four of its planes.

 

Your thoughts?

 

EDIT: I just found out about the IJN Isuzu, which was commanded by Yamamoto in 1928. Basically, a faster and slightly heavier Kuma, which had 610mm torpedoes and was refitted as an AA escort (=> unique) by replacing its main armament by three dual-127mm guns, adding loads of 25mm and removing the catapult.
A fast Tier 4 AA escorter with a lousy main armament, I guess.

Why was the North Carolina left out of the TDS fix?

 

Why is the Colorado having it's sigma nerfed when the Nagato has 2.0 and does better statistically?

 

Why does the Colorado not get a speed buff? If the Lyon can go faster than designed than why not Colorado?

 

What do USN CVs do now that they'll be completely overwhelmed against IJN fighters if the IJN CV runs AS?

 

Why does the USN CVs have to grind hangar space and the IJN CVs don't?

Pigeon I might be wrong but I didn't see ARP Takao being affected by the torpedo reload changes that Atago is getting will her torpedo reload be reduced as well along with Atago or will it be just Atago .

Battlefield 3 and 4 have a mode like this. I think it's called Rush ( I think? it's been a while and I'm playing Battlefield 1 currently). It's fun for a dynamic game with constant respawn points, but for a game that requires planning and being more reactive to shifting battle lines than proactive to pushing the battle line, this mode might not work out in our game.

Ah okay so you know what I'm talking about , can it be maybe implimented in the operation missions then? Also we really need more maps please.

@Pigeon_of_War Is there any way to add replies to a thread in the middle of the thread? My camo thread is out of reserved posts, but there are more lines to add! Is there a way around this limitation, or am I stuck with it?
