What german battleships coming to the game? and What is the date of release?

We have a lot of questions about the German Battleships. What's Happened With This Ships? We need answers. Please say something of this ships. What line of tech tree you thing is coming to the game?

max caliber in game is 18 inches. which is good cause that eliminates the super yamato with her 22 inch guns!

Still think H-44 would make for a fun 'boss' ship for special events along the lines of the Salem Witch / Phantom Fortress one.

 

They've already modeled the mega-carrier Habakkuk for some reason, so it shouldn't be out of the question to see other outlandish designs.

Hey Lert....you think WG will add the Deutchland class?  note: I'm talking about the 1 launched in 1904 not the pocket BBs Germany built during the 1930s. it would make a nasty tier 2 if they did! or at least in my opinion...

I am kinda torn on the Bayern and Scharnhorst on the order. I have internal arguments for how you have it and swapping their tiers. But I would love to see that line up as the ships they do.

Bayern's 15" are WWI era, a lot less modern and less powerful than the 6x 15" (same guns as on Bismarck / Tirpitz) Scharnhorst is likely going to have in her fully upgraded state. After all, those guns were planned for the class, but she was given 9x 11" instead because the 15" wasn't available yet.

I would love to see the 1904 Deutschland in the game, but I think WG isn't going to try pre-dreadnoughts again any time soon.

To my knowledge, Wargaming said 18 inch guns would be the largest and they wouldn't go over that (Meaning they won't build past H-41). That being said, they also said there would be no pre-dreadnoughts, which they broke when they added the Mikasa, as well as no torpedo tubes on battleships, which they broke when they added the Tirpitz. We'll just have to wait for the official announcement.

They didn't say 'no torpedoes on battleships', they said 'no fixed torpedo tubes like many battleships had'. Tirpitz's torpedo tubes aren't fixed, they can aim.

I think your confusing the H-42 withe H-44. the H42 was intended to have 18 (later planed with 20 inch) inch guns while the "ubbär" big H44s would have mounted 22 inch main guns. assuming WG were to not give H-42 her 20 inch guns she could still "technically" be added tot he game!

The game might get pretty stale grinding the last of the line. The last 3 ships are essentially the same thing, just bigger/badder versions than the previous one.

well given the sizes of the H-42-44 class I wouldn't be surprised if WG would slap a "nope not happening" sticker on them! In a documentary done by PBS they said the H-42 alone would have given Yamato a run for her money in size, speed, armor and firepower. And the even Bigger H-44 class made Yamato look like a cruiser!

 

H-41 itself is a larger version of the Bismark which if it had been paired with the O-39 ( an larger upgraded version of the Scharnhorst class but with 15 inch guns), they would have posed an formidable opponent on the seas. Lucky for us though the German naval brass said the ships wouldn't have been completed til 1944 and plans of their keels being laid in 1941 were canceled due to the war in the atlantic, U-boats, Bismark's sinking and war material being used and needed else where!

8x 16.5" guns at tier 10? It would need to make up for a lack of firepower in other attributes.

Yeah I would just kinda rather see the Scharnhorst built around the 9x11 with a really good rate of fire and high velocity.
