Almost nobody owns a Mac, let alone plays games on one. If you really want to play, Buy a copy of windows and install it with BootCamp. It comes free on every Mac when you buy it. It turns your Mac into a full fledged PC, none of that virtualization crap.

I tiny amount of people feel the need to play PC games on Mac, those same people feel the need to complain about the games not working properly on their Macs, I call those kinds of people the Vocal Minority, or.... The Mostly Minority, that works too. xxscrubmlgxx, on 13 May 2016 - 09:38 PM, said: I am having issues with WOWS. 4,521 [WOLF7] awiggin Members 12,620 posts Report post #7 Posted May 14, 2016 (edited) 7.8% of the world market isn't a lot. When you factor in the number of Mac users that actually try to run windows games, it likely drops actual consideration below 5%. WG really can't afford to invest in support for such a small segment, it's just not good business. You see these Mac requests once or twice a month, should WG move resources to handle it? Or invest their resources in supporting the majority of the market? I think anyone who's dealt with WG for awhile knows the answer to this.... Wargamings has a experience bringing blitz to iOS so it's not a giant leap to say they can't do the same for OSX. I have a Mac and an Alienware sometimes I can't play on the Alienware so I use my Mac. Macs are slowing coming around to gaming but it will be along time before they excel at it. That being said I use bootcamp, and the OP should to.

[quote name= The Mac Pro, Apple's fastest computer, hasn't been updated since 2013. Other Macs, even pricey built-to-order models, use "mobile" graphics cards tuned for energy efficiency, not sheer power

As bad as it is to try to use MAC for gaming, I cannot tell you how much I laugh at those that refuse to let dos go and try to use Linux for gaming.

11 [WOLF7] DiEsmitty Members 138 posts Report post #13 Posted May 14, 2016 Not quite... Despite your article there was a concentrated push by a Apple a few years ago to get more game developers in the Mac App Store. The Apple TV refresh was partly to dive more into the mobile gaming. Apple is slowing edging towards gaming albeit mobile gaming. But this could be a trickle down effect and eventually move into Laptops and iMacs. Atleast you aren't stuck in the dos era... sorry use linux. As bad as it is to try to use MAC for gaming, I cannot tell you how much I laugh at those that refuse to let dos go and try to use Linux for gaming. I used to play games off the 5.25 drive. Boot camp will partition a section of your drive and turn it into a Window Friendly section where you then Install Windows and you just have a hybrid PC on your mac. Widows and all windows programs will operate for the most part, but you are still limited by the power of your hardware. Edit. You will need to buy a copy of windows if you don't have one to install after you set up Boot Camp. You will have both a Mac and a PC. You can use both , just have to reboot back and forth into Mac or PC partitions. Edited May 14, 2016 by Shadowrigger1

Best option, unless you can afford a dedicated gaming rig. GPU on macs is not well suited for gaming.
