Honestly, TAP isn't very reliable. You're better off just looking for the primary source youself since he never gives credit or cites the original party.

Why on earth Iowa need buff?  It's great BB right now and it's very strong already (disclaimer - I own Iowa and recently started making positive balance in it). If a developer says " we are going to buff X ship because it isn't on the whole performing as we want it to " which is what this is based on, a Q&A from AP, why would you assert that it is crowd pleasing?  The decision to change a ship by WG is based on their metrics of performance and what they want to see in their game.  Your desire that WG leave things as they are would effectively would tie their hands preventing them from ever altering the game.  WG don't get it perfect first time every time, so after careful review they should be allowed to alter the content.  

 

You have for some bizarre reason equated their desire to balance ship performance with political populism ?   Just how often does WG get accused of doing exactly what the player base wants ?  How often do they get accused of IGNORING what the player base wants ?  On balance it is by far the latter so the suggestion that adjustment = populism is baseless.  Time to re-adjust your tinfoil hat

If a ship is not performing its intended purpose effectively, it will be buffed.
