Hello

I know that two Lion class battleships were partially constructed during WWII, are their any real life pictures of these that I can see of these? I see on Wikipedia that there were multiple designs, which of these were partially constructed? Which will most likely be in game?

Thank you

Ted you already had a thread on British ships.

The Lion might not be in the game. We wont know for sure until they make an announcement

I don't know if there are any pictures of them. They were laid down to the 1938 design.

We will probably see two or more of the Lion class designs in the game.

They set aside material for building. They never actually even started construction. It's a similar situation as Montana.

Ships that were laid down to a design were often completed to 'tweaked' designs.

For example, the Audacious class ended up as Eagle and Ark Royal - both incrementally different from the design at the year they were laid down.

Same applies to Implacable.

Admittedly, these ships were "suspended" for various periods to allow these modifications to take place.
