Like/Hate about this latest patch?

The weather effects are beautifully done, really love them. Haven't seen the Cyclone yet with its LOS powers, but can't wait to.

 

The new ship sinking animations are nice. I decided to troll a dead teammate below:

Don't panic, he got picked off 20 seconds earlier and I wanted to find out if I can still damage myself by ramming his corpse.

 

The new shell animations are cute. Pity the Aslain Mod tracers can't be applied yet for telling yours apart from teammate and enemy.

 

Only thing I dislike is some of the Aslain Mod features I use can't be activated yet, like the base capture timer.

I hate the increased chance of fire.

I think everything has been great. Had a storm come in with thunder etc. no wave changes I don't think but visibility really diminished and it was very cool atmosphere as the BB I was shooting at just faded away...

Like: Stunning weather

Dislike: It only last about 1 min in beginning -_- (such tease)

 

Like: faster loading time

Dislike: the 1 min pre-match timer feel quite long now lol

 

Like: New crosshair

Dislike: didn't have the one I wanted lol

 

Like: Sinking anim

Dislike: dead ally block my torpedoes alot

 

I'm nit picking at this point. Been a while since a patch make the game feel like new experience again

Yeah..select "reduce fire effects" in graphics options

I think you can yeah, I hate it too and will be trying to turn it off when I get home from work.

 

My main dislike with this patch is that the guns sound less punchy now.  They have this off sound too them, I also don't like that you can't really hear the engines now in binoc view.

Only thing I dislike are random game crashes now. I sent ticket to WG support with wgs  report. Their diagnostics said I had some missing or damaged files. 

 

The things I do like is pretty much every thing they added. Weather, crew voices, the dynamic sight, etc.

The newest patch for me has been awesome overall. The weather effects are great, And the cyclone is really cool during gameplay. I wish they would add some type of waves too. I can see where in ranked pvp this would need to be turned off but for random pvp it's great.

Faster load times are a welcomed change. Along with the crosshairs! Also one of my biggest behind the scene changes was now they keep my "Home" and "End" keybindings!! That's awesome guys thank you.

 

In game though I'm most pleased with how they handled Torps at high tier's. There is still a ton of them and that's ok in my books! But it's not just waves of them the whole game. I'm pretty happy where they are now. As for sinking that looks really cool! I'm excited to see turrets fall off, And maybe some parts of the ship break off!

 

Lastly, The sound! I love the new sounds they added and how the ships are feeling more alive.

 

Only thing I dislike really is fire's. Still a crap ton of them. I still have BB's hitting me with HE just because fire's kill faster (stacked) then using AP.

 

Overall very pleased.

This patch has been really good for me so far, and when I say that I mean I barely notice the changes because I'm a big stupid battleship captain.

 

The only thing I dislike is that one of my favorite mods has been rendered obsolete by the recent shell changes.

Finally figured out the issue. I need to update graphics drivers or some crap. Doing that now.

 Dislike:  They stated they were going to fix the crappy uneven spawns on Strait- then they didn't.

like new gun sounds!  My BB sounds like a high powered rifle.

like improved load times- even in New Jersey (who Verizon apparently hates and smack s with crappy wireless...), I'm no longer loading in minutes into the match!

Love new ship sinking.  Sweet- a torpedo spam shield!

 

Dislike new team damage rules.  Esp since they still don't apply to divisions.  Too many oblivious goobers around to make it so easy to get designated a team killer.
