New TRAP map is great

Love the fact that north islands have been removed and C opened up a little.

That middle island in B has completely changed my results for the better. Now moving across the map is not a death sentence and people can actually react to losing bases if you are not a DD.

If there are CVs in the match, you can park a Baltimore or Atlanta behind the center island on B and completely deny any airplanes trying to fly over it.

The island is also tall enough to block shots from the enemy team.

 

The only downside is, if your team is derpy and allows the enemy to grab both A and C, you won't have anywhere to run.

It is definitely a good change that makes the map considerably more fun to play on in this patch when compared to previous ones, I hope they revamp more maps, some do require it badly.

Actually, I wish they'd remove the island in E9. I hate loading in on that side because there is always some idiot BB driver who wants to "sneak up" on the enemy from behind that island. Last game I played it was an Izumo, who was surprised to find Kagero there waiting for him. *sigh*

That island in E9 is pretty annoying, but I do like the newest version a lot more than the old one.
