146 Iron_Knickers Beta Testers 701 posts 1,459 battles Report post #1 Posted April 29, 2016 (edited) In the middle of a match on North during a sunny day, the sky slowly got dark and it started to rain, then the wind picked up and suddenly everyone's visibility was decreased. As an Iowa, I had to change how I was playing the match, as both sides of the game ooed and awed at the weather change, I was forced to, and allowed the chance to, sneak in and engage in close quarters combat. It let me get right on top of a Hiryu in my Atlanta and take him out, this gave our strike loaded Ranger the ability to decimate the enemy BB's and win us the game. In the one game I had in it, my team nearly got out capped, despite being in an advantageous position, because the BBs, me included, couldn't see the ships on our cap, due to the cyclone. I thought it was great. "Oh, we got this bagged" "Oh, crap, here comes the cyclone and the enemy is on our cap" "Okay, now this is exciting again, we might lose" "Go Atlanta! wreck them from 8km!" We are gonna loose.. cant see anything and collision alarm goes off! I rammed BOTH DD's, They were trading paint and I ran right between 'em.. One griped, the other said "so thats what JFK was thinking..."... never gotten double strike for ramming! gotta have more weather!
