I can't hit anything now...wth

This is [edited]. Whatever you guys did, undo it. 6 volleys froim a Fuso, 3 hits. Spotting aircraft have become pointless. No use firing at stuff you have no hope of even hitting. The only time I can get consistent hits is within 8 km. And even then the damage caused is minimal.

 

I even unloaded 12 rounds into a fuso at POINT BLANK RANGE broadside, and did....nothing. All 12 rounds hit, just barely scratched him.

 

This is most definitely BROKEN.

Accuracy was not nerfed from what I have seen in the patch notes, and if there was a nerf to dispersion, there would have been people raising hell a lot earlier than your post. 

 

Perhaps try using a different aiming reticule to make it easier to judge enemy distance

The dispersion is outrageous. Firing from a single turret nearly always has me dropping rounds in the water on either side a ship. At MODERATE ranges. I don't know whether to throw up my hands or just throw up.

My first game with the new gunsight I was doing 44k out of 42 hits... second fight I did over 126k.

You did okay in your ranger though wepps in that co-op I was in.

To be fair, Fuso isn't exactly known for it's accuracy...

Plus you have to keep in mind the targets you fire at and the angle of entrance, but that's textbook information. Either you're just having terrible RNG, or something about your aiming technique has changed for whatever reason.

Not having a problem with my cruisers. I don't know. Must just be me. But after losing several fights in a row, I just got fed up missing everything.

I did run into an issue with my Colorado yesterday where most of my shots aimed at the waterline all fell short, even when accounting for a target's vertical direction. Not sure if it was just fluke, so I'll look forward to testing it some more tonight. Also using the default sight.

 

P.S: I'm actually not sure what the difference between static and dynamic is in this context. I was always under the impression the sight always changed the gap between lines dependant on how far you are to target and how zoomed in you are. Not sure why anyone would ever use a sight that didn't correct for range.

I'm having issues hitting things as well but part of that is due to patch changes (slight lighting effects) and partly because some minor server side issues (ships being slightly ahead of where I'm seeing them).

 Waste of time person has opinion on not hitting trolls immediately blame him as usual. Heaven forbid that something gets reported and taken serious. Its even said one day never miss next can't hit anything and nobody sees a problem with this [edited]. Do we want arcade or challenge personally I want a consistent game that takes more skill than luck but hey that's just me. Right now game is lopsided as hell due to all the crying this needs nerf this needs buff Fix RNG and nothing needs nerfs. CVs should dominate, Destroyers should make bbs cry and cruisers should scare the hell out of CVs and Destroyers. Right now its set em on fire over and over and run to the back like all the forum trolls are famous for. Good luck ever being taken serious in here because mods don't care and trolls do nothing but troll.

I felt the need to slightly adjust my aiming with the new patch, but it wasn't really a big deal.  Just seem to need to lead targets a bit more.....could be the new recticle.

 

Good players will adjust and move on.  No need for tears.
