Give Us Flags for Detonations Occurring With Juliet Charlie

15 detonations.  15 [edited]ing detonations in one night in my Amagi, from sources ranging from torpedoes to Destroyer AP.  After the first one I put on Juliet Charlie, which supposedly reduces your detonation chance by 100%.  Assuming it's not over 100% in the first place, which it shouldn't be because every hit doesn't cause a detonation, that means its effectively zero.

 

So why did I get detonated 14 more times with that flag and nothing else mounted, let alone by shells of lesser caliber than my secondary weapons?  I thought that getting detonated in my Izumo by 1 shell was some strange glitch, but apparently it's not.  Devs have some explaining to do, but until then, I'll take more flags as compensation for either a poorly-explained or poorly-programmed mechanic.

I thought it's been said that the flag protects you against the first detonation but not subsequent ones. But 15 seems like you royally pissed off RNGesus.

Funny thing is, I've had that many detonations in all of my previous Amagi battles combined.  And that's something I've never actually heard about.  But either way it seems that WG did something to detonation chances, or the Kagero and Shimakaze torpedoes have astronomically high ones for some reason.  Almost every single DD who torp-detonated me got another torpedo-induced detonation kill in the same match.

Sorry to hear it, glad it's not just me though. I haven't seen a detonation in months, and got detonated 3 times in the Murm.

Not just that, seems like every hit i take in the murm is a critical today, and 16 straight losses in it is seriously depressing. If this keeps up, I may never play it again. :(

I think that WG should make the detonation flag be the only flag that can be rewarded multiple times in one day. Nobody likes detonations, so I feel it's fair to give out the flags whenever it happens, not just the first time in a 24hr period.

 

They should also increase the number of Zulu flags earned from first blood to at least 5 too.

further proof of something i've said MANY times both in game and on this forum: the detonation mechanic is BROKEN and needs a MASSIVE overhaul
