delete system 32.

(don't..)

 

 

Go to 'add or remove programs' and find the uninstaller, If there is one, or you can also just delete the wows folder in your /C: drive

if you're planning to reinstall - just delete this game's folder

I'm about to do the same as the update renders it unplayable. Everyone that did a fresh install has had no issues, or it sounds that way.

 

Shame on me for thinking I could just simply update the game.....

just saw a post where someone had an issue with 5.5 so they wiped and did a full re-install

 

several games later problem re-appeared as if the smoke simply vanished

 

consider an alternate solution - like deleting your preferences file

should have renamed your old install - in case --- and especially saved the updates folder
