Anyone notice the nice two day mission we got with the 0.5.5 update?

 

Double XP and Credits for any win in Tier IV and up.  That's pretty damn good!

 

I'm undecided on if I break out the Tirpitz to regenerate my bank account or grind my other Tier VIII battleships....

It is VERY nice . However with the bug problems you might want to wait some little amount of time .

If i were me, Take out your Tier 8 BB for a fast grind while you have the chance. Just think it as a free 100% exp camo for 48 full hours.

I do like how you can change the crosshairs in game now.  This is a very welcome feature!

Don;t suppose Aslain's mods are converted yet?   I never used these new crosshairs yet.

Don't expect any crosshair mods to work with 0.5.5 update. They completely redone and rename the crosshair file. So if you install the old crosshair the normal way, it will not work cause that file no longer exist in the game files due to name change

My install is still repacking but that is nice to here. Gonna have to buy the next carrier in line for USN now. After finishing the Bogue off I dropped the USN carrier line and started using that port spot to work on Soviet and German ships. All my other spots are filled with the other  IJN and USN trees I am working on.

This should have been in the game from the beginning but they need to take some of the modded crosshairs like Tic Tac for Eye of Sauron and put them in the game too.

Uninstalled yesterday night. Will download and install after work today. (I did extensive testing in PT so I know what to expect)

Sad though that all the bonuses in the world won't help if you get crap team after crap team.

 

And then to add salt to the wound, I had two turrets destroyed in two separate games by HE fire from the Kutuzov.   When you lose 66% of your firepower instantly and permanently because of a broken OP game mechanic, you tend to not want to play anymore.

This patch includes the new/buffed turret HP values.  You may want to give it a shot as it could make a big difference.

I love it too 3 days of mayhem.... although my first game....a Kraken, First Blood, Arsonist, Confederate, High Caliber and Devastating strike on my Cleveland and  I lost, doh..
