Also, on the topic of premium ships, what premium ship would you like to see created?

 

I'd like a Gangut class battleship (soviet), or a Littorio class battleship (Italian).

It is rumored that the Tripitz is coming back in August along with the German BB line...

My guess, a couple weeks before the release of the German BBS in August. Would be a great time to promote and grind up German BB captains. 

 

As far as premiums. I would love to see USS Washington, NC class BB, with something cool like radar or defensive AA. Since she was evolved in one of the last BB v BB fights in history using radar to great effect, or her AA that had a great kill record during the war.

 

My other would be USS San Diego, Atlanta class, which in my opinion, should be the premium we have now and not the ATL. Saving ATL for a line ship. San Diego was the second most decorated US ship of WW2, and survived the war.

If the August date becomes reality and we can't get a Tirpitz before then, that means I'm going to have to play the hell out of my Emden to get a BB captain prepped decently for the new line release.  That's gonna be painful in its own right.

Sorry San Diego is literally the same ship with a different hull number, no reason not to have the Lead ship of the class in the game.  Yes I realize San Diego is a very historic ship, but WG has a tendency to use the lead ship.

An even better time would be now, so I have a realistic chance of having a fully trained German BB captain ready to go for their launch without having to train them on cruisers. You know, like every other server gets to.

 

Learn from my mistakes, kids. Even if you aren't ready for a ship, but you know you'll want it later, buy it whenever it's on sale, because it could be 10-11 months before it goes on sale again (currently in month 5, with no sign of any relief). I didn't want to be that [edited]who buys a Tier 8 when they're only on Tier 5, but instead of just buying it and not using it, I chose to wait, because surely it wouldn't be a whole [edited]year before it went on sale again.

 

Whoops. Never doing that again. You can thank NA wargaming for all the noobs who flood into rare high tier premiums, because now they know that they only have one good chance to get a ship, so they'll buy it when it's on sale instead of waiting until they're ready for the ship.

Yeah this is my experience. I should have bought everything when i could. I bought the atago when i was new...played one match and got smoked. I knew I wasnt ready. Now I'm ready. Luckily I bought the MK on the last day it was available. I really want the Tirpitz so that I have 3 premiums to rotate while leveling ships.

 

I didn't know asking about the Tirpitz was a deal. Sorry for wasting anyone's time. I find it difficult to search through these forums.

Not as Premium Ships they don't (Warspite, Tirpitz, Atago, Texas, ETC...). And I think his point was that he wanted to see a SD as a Prem and a ATL as a class in the Tech Tree. Although, I honestly have NO idea where it would go. Could be a bridge (ala the Church GC in WoT) between DD and CL lines at some point?

 

Anyway, moot point since the Lead Ship of the Class is already in the game as a premium.

 

OH, also... ships I want to see in the game?

Wee Vee as a tier 8 Premium (Bad [edited]AA Suite, along with the better secondaries, AA defense consumable, more HP)

Musashi as a tier 9 with the much worse AAA and the 2 extra 15.5 cm/60 turrets. Longshot, but maybe a prize?
