Kinda irritated.  Just had a match where 4 of my team got in a big blab about the merits of various ships WHILE the game is going on.  This started as soon as general quarters sounded.  They blabbed on and on paying little/no attention to the game and all got killed and we were down 4 ships in first few minutes of the game. Big loss. I am sure others have seen this kinda crap go on.  Pls players save your discussions for the forums and when in battle fight rather than yak about various ships.  Ok?  This just happened and I felt need to rant a bit. Tks.  Carry on all.

 

I doubt if this will do any good but i feel better.

Forums are OP...... Please refrain from mentioning forums in game.....It is like WASD to a Noob.....

When I first transferred to the ASIA server in tanks(was called SEA at the time) there was a guy named "soap" who would start hurling abuse at anyone who communicated with anything except the function keys because we were all distracting him with our "useless"  chatter. This is a guy who transferred with 1700WN7 and that dropped to 1400WN7 before I stopped seeing him play. When I told him to take his complaints on everyone distracting him and making him worse to the forums he said a handful of not very nice things. 

 

I ended up responding to him in battle with: "sit down, wash your mouth out with soap and play the [edited]game"  in every battle after. I used to see him at least once every 10 battles

I think that would be broken. I would much prefer the less subtle route of disabling their Function buttons and chat box for chaos. 

 

Just imagine the chaos when you single out a poor battleship, and just as they realise the danger they are in, you disable their ability to communicate. Muahahahahahaha

I don't mind useful chat at all. Not at all.  You got it all wrong and perhaps I was not clear.  These guys were not even fighting and they all died and were not in the least bit into the game.  They were just talking about ships and tiers and etc. etc. Do you like to be with players who are just mailing it in?  I hurled NO abuse at them.  Said nothing.  Not a thing.  I remind you of "him".  LOL.  Pls do not leap to conclusions.  Carry on.

Chatter about the ships in the game? that's fine, that's just talking about the game. As long as they don't turn stupid and continue conversation with an enemy DD within 5 km of them that's fine. But hey, I see you prefer silence like a moron, I'd be happy to indulge you in match with that magic mute button or the ability to disable chat.

I sit on my little verandah on the stern of Warspite and enjoy the view.....undisturbed by annoying messages appearing at left, a gin & tonic at hand and a good crossword puzzle to occupy the mind in-between gunnery engagements.

Basically when I'm in the wrong mood, my mouth could make a sailor blush. Just ask A_Crying_Stripper about what happened when he destroyed all the turrets in my Iowa and then denying me a ram.

Whenever I go off in a game, its usually just the trigger. the rage is pent up from other crapthat goes on- like spending 45 minutes on the phone arguing with my wife for example
