end game content for me is the Atlanta?

I started at the end of January refered by a colleague to join this game and soon after with the Arp missions i got pretty much hooked. The grind was ok, as the first t10 i got my eyes on was the Des Moine which I acquired last week. But there's always that thirst to want more credits and more XP. Thx to the tax man i got my Atlanta last night and it satisfied that thirst pretty much. I'm not those that aim to be a good player, if i can play a avg support role i'm content(no time, never really dug deep with pvp gaming). Even with my awful matches today, i came out pretty good credit and xp wise.

 

I mean i was already working on the KM cruiser line but now with the Atlanta, i think i'm good. I should've just bought Atlanta at the beginning and saved me time and money lol.

 

Premium ships are very nice, if you can get your hands on one. I guess that's why Tirpitz is on no sale status right now. Its not that its OP, some either get bored or stop researching other ships.

love that channel(FurryTaco and big gun XD). I've been watching Flamu and Voulesvou TV to improve. But i think Atlanta is all i'm gonna play now lol.

I would really like to have an Atlanta sitting in my harbor but sadly the monies have other responsibilities. But its nice to have ships or just a ship that is fun to play and you are good in it. Some of the ships I really like to sail are my Marblehead, Mahan, Benson, Kiev, Myoko, Cleveland and the mighty Warspite. I can do well in them and generally have a lot of fun playing. If you get the chance at a Warspite don't pass it up, I have a lot of fun with her.

Derpitz isn't on sale as they've decided the best way to manipulate players into playing $70+ for a ship that keeps on costing you is to create artificial rarity...

And they claim they didn't sell many last time either...

Tirpitz is on sale on the EU server for at least the next 35 days. Why not on the NA servers?

Atlanta is sub par at worst.. I wouldn't call her terrible.

With 5.5 coming along that bumps her turret HP to 5000, which is a very welcome buff for her, it'll make her bit more tolerable in skirmishes.

 

There are some other buffs apparently in the making for Atlanta but none have been disclosed. if it's Radar as some have speculated, it might be sufficient to make Atlanta prime IJN DD hunter in it's tier.

Would guess (If) the radar would have spotting ranges around 7.5 km to 7.9 km with USN's 40s duration.

 

If it isn't radar, can be almost anything else.

 

But Atlanta most certainly isn't a newbie friendly ship.

i dont spend alot, but there's some spending involved. but i do play every day.

It certainly is a situational ship, not new comers friendly for sure. But seeing 235K+ credit almost every match is nice.

I think end game for me is High tier ship earning credits and XP. But this lil ship does very well in that area.

once u get to the higher tiers u run out of credits.

i easily grind out tje xp needed but its hard to spend the multi millions upgrading and buying new ships.

There's no way around the "play a lot". Besides premium, all spending money does is let you grind with whatever ship you want.

 

I started in July and 3 Tier 7s is my highest. Although I have at least Tier 5 in everything but CVs and IJN DDs. (almost there for RU CAs)

 

It depends how you play. A lot of my games are in elite ships that, since I don't spend enough money to convert XP, are only earning me credits.

I feel seriously bad for those who buy the Atlanta over the Atago. I'm happy you're enjoying the game because of it and all that, but I can't in any way support purchase of this ship, as it is a detriment to any team it's on. It's just bad, and WG seriously needs to do something about it.

Sitting on Yamato, Des Moines, Fletcher and Kagero, all of them funded Credit wise by Atlanta in some way. Atlanta never gets boring, for me at least as just trying to stay alive can be a challenge.

 

All I can say is if you plan on going up multiple tiers once you hit T8s the game gets very very grindy in respect to Credits. Finding a premium that you can earn credits in and that doesn't bore you is important. Now I will have to play 100 matches to fund Roon and Shimakaze.......

I've had to sell Mogami and Tashkent, didn't play either often but enjoyed having them in port. Trying to find time to play enough games to purchase Fletcher and Kagero back to back was impossible for me.

 

Once you hit T9 you can't really play as normal and earn enough to buy other T9-10s, or I can't. You have this shiny new toy but are forced to play your good earning ships usually in that T7 and below area over and over, it gets old and very grindy.
