I wonder, why torpedo hits from torpedo bombers dont count towards any kind of torpedo dailies, its a bug or intended?

A torpedo is a torpedo, if you ask me. Both should count, or else it's the only daily that can only be cleared by 1 class out of 4.

 

Nobody uses torpedoes on Japanese cruisers, don't even try to say otherwise. The angle is so bad using them is a deathwish.

As for why, it's way easier to just get hits with torpedo bombers than with ship-launched torpedoes.

one is a premium exception and the other still can't fire forward more than a few degrees if memory serves

 

Either way Surprise Attack and Sniper are only reasonably completed using a destroyer.

you could strategically retreat with torps, it's not like always have your bow pointing towards the enemy.

Up through tier 4 where they have 6 Km torps they really are just a weapon of opportunity but once you get to the Furataka with 19 Km torps they become useful.

 

10 Km torps, darn tablet.

Have seen LWM 2 times in ranked joining her Atago with a DD. Quite sneaky way to play this ship. Since a IJN DD spotted ahead of her, giving her enough space for a stealth build Atago to launch the torps and turn away. And if something went wrong the DD could pop smoke.

Didn't those explode on deck due to the shock from a shell explosion?  They're great torps though, I agree with that.  Just need to make sure they're in the water and not on your deck.

They had them in Alpha and were removed for balancing reasons

I still maintain that Sniper and Surprise Attack are most reasonably completed using destroyers. Cruiser torpedoes exist but they're far too limited in usefulness when you're trying to finish a daily, if you ask me.

 

But sure whatever if you want to turn this into some stupid political game, you're on.
