Training Room Use

I have Training Room downloaded, and I'm able to play battles there, but I'm really uncertain how best to set it up. I'd like to invite players, but I'm not able to check the invite box. Also, I'm not able to select other team members ships when playing bots.

 

Can anybody give me some education as to how to use these Training Room features?

Invite function has never worked. I'm not sure what you mean by by you can't select team member ships. It's just drag and drop.

the training room was designed by one of the WG UI experts

 

its never been intuitive

 

and often when you do something exactly correctly

 

it still ignores you

I'll give that a try. I was able to drag them from the line-up, but never tried dragging them in. So, am I correct that I can only use this by myself? I thought teams used this for practice or Team vs Team battles.

Did you set the room to 12v12? If it's at 1v1 it won't let you put more than one ship per side.

I was just using 5 vs 5. I'm test driving my new Hindenburg. I'm giving myself 2 or 3 ships vs 5 for the other side.... lower tier though. It's giving me a better understanding of the ships AP and HE abilities as well as torp use. I recently picked up a CV. This is a great place to learn the ropes for CV use.

It's also perfect for using your TB from max range just to troll defenseless yammies montanas and any other ship that irks you.
