I'm sorry but I don't believe this is just luck. These are my first  three games in it. Look at all these fires. It seems quite suspicious for a ship with only 12% fire chance. I know this might seem crazy, but I strongly think it is in reality way more than 12%. 3 games with that much fires can't be only luck

It's the RoF, accuracy and being able to shoot at T6 ships that have more flammable decks.

12% Fire chance and you and started fires 11.74% of the time,

am I missing something here or is this just a "look at my games" thread?

I have played a crap ton of ships and I never saw a ship doing so much fires exept the Zao, but the Zao has 22% chance and not 12%

honestly, I've had up to 18 fires using a Cleveland with DE, but I rarely ever got witherer or arsonist from it, because Cleveland requires me to sink the ship I'm shooting at very quickly, otherwise suffer extensive damage, due to the effective ranges of 152mm/47.

Fire chance is not just straight that percentage, there are factors about the targeted vessel that also affect the chance of fires like tier, skills, equipment, location of hit etc. Also, three games is not a very big sample size, the statistical chance that you got a little above average rolls three games in a row is not that bad.

My cleveland averaged more fires per game than that. i was getting about 13 fires/game and i dont think its fire chance is much different from budyonny

After 3 games?  You'd need about 3000 games.  Sample size is nonexistent.

Those are an acceptable number of fires for the amount of shells landed, even if you shot some AP at other cruiser. There really isn't anything "hidden" at all. I have had way more in ships with high rate of fire. Cleveland, Mikhail,

It's not the ship, it's the captain.

It is 100% skill. Those are some excellently set fires my friend!

Well played.

did you bother to count your fire per cent?

411 shots, 35 fires

100 * 35/411 = 8,52%

way lower than 12%, and since you claim that "3 games can't be only luck" it means that budyonny has a hidden negative chance to start fires
