I was loading into a game last night and in a division. I was loading in after my division mates. I was a DD T7 and the spread was T7-T9 including an Iowa.

Before I was fully loaded and after about 35 seconds in my division mate says oh(&$*^) the Iowa just took a chunk out of you. yep sure did knocked me back 10K.

I chatted out wthdude when I finally loaded in and the Iowa shot me again, claiming I had torped him. At this point The Iowa turned into the Tirpitz next to him to push him around. Now it all gets confusing but somehow magically as I was turning to evade at 2km my Torps went off and I saw wall of Trops go towards the Iowa along with more torpedoes' from Three sides. Which knocked him back 50%, now it gets really weird, he claims we ganged up on him from the beginning and he starts to try and blow away a Schors and another DD.

As I come around to get away at about 2 minutes in max the other BBs on our team light this guy up and another wall of torps head in to put him down , however he manages to finish me with a final shot.

Now I feel like junk, but I have never so far in this game such team work as I saw as every ship but two open up on this Chicago Bears fan of a former well known linebacker famous for well played years with his only football team. It is really sad that this WOWS players would stain the legendary career of such a great sportsman by committing this act and bearing his name and number.

And then in chat as they said the game was a loss they were still up beat and tried to fight as they figured that if it was not for the darn team killer., they were supportive and they dealt the justice this moron deserved. They kept talking about it in the chat as I watched.

 

I do not want to make this about punishment,

 

I want to say thank you and thank the two players that messaged me afterwards and said how glad they were to be rid of the player even though they lost.

 

Yes I sent a ticket, yes I have shots but I cannot figure out how you people get them up here .

 

So  here is my ideal punishment to these creeps.

 

If it is clearly found you shot first and team killed, all your exp, coin, free exp and gold go to that player.

Resizing is nice.  Not everyone uses very high resolution monitors.  1024x768 is about the same resolution as many smartphones.

 

STEP FOUR (occasionally):

You'll have to do this for the first pic you upload if you don't have a registered account with Tinypic (I don't).  You'll then have to do it for every second picture you upload.

 

STEP FIVE:

The BB Code works fine, but I prefer C&Ping the bottom one and using the image tool on the forums to see the layout right away.

 

 

And then you can enjoy the fruits of your clicking and share any image you come across on your hard drive.

The fact that this player is even still playing is proof-enough of Wargaming's complete and total lack of response to chronic (read: every single match) teamkillers.  He's spawned on my team once in a gearing, already pink, and fortunately a handful of us realized who he was before he had a chance to nuke us.  You can't tell me (and I'm probably not exaggerating here) hundred of reports haven't been filed against him.  It's a disgrace.

I'm only a month into this game and wasn't much of a computer game player before that so I'm still trying to get my mind wrapped around concepts like "team killers". I have played enough on line poker though to know that there are some strange and unexplainable folks out here in electronic land.

I have one word of caution for those that seek immediate retribution for such perceived egregious offences. Beware the lynch mob mentality.

 

Just a couple days ago I had a guy screaming for my head because he thought a spread of torps came from me. They didn't come from me but from some idiot in a Wickes DD that just 30 seconds earlier had cut in front of me causing me to go into a hard stop to keep from hitting him. His torps barely missed my stern  before heading for other allied ships. It wasn't funny at the time but thinking back it's almost laughable. It was a full spread of torps fired at close range at a tightly packed formation and they all miss me, two other ships and one torp  just catches the stern of a forth. Just because I was the closest ship to the torps when the guy first saw them didn't mean they came from me, yet that's just the conclusion he jumped to.

 

Now the case presented by the OP seems pretty cut and dried and I can see where eliminating a problem is the only solution. Screaming for blood the very first thing when things aren't so clear though isn't the best first course of action. Especially when innocent accidents happen all the time. Play enough games and sooner or later some ally is going to put a shell or torp into you just as you will put one into them at one point or another. Friendly fire isn't really all that friendly but it is a reality of both real and computer wars.
