I see you modeled the camo with Warspite. Does that mean the ship nationality doesn't matter? If I wanted to vote for the red, white, and blue I could put that camo on an IJN destroyer?  That would be an interesting twist and benefit those who don't have a lot of ships in port.

That's right

The ship doesn't matter.  Every ship has all 4 camo choices (except the Arpeggio ones that can't mount camo). Just put the camo of your choice on it, whether it be the nation of the school the colours represent and your 'vote' will be counted.

it is an event. each camo you use on a ship counts as a vote for that nation. based on which nation has the most votes a the specified dates there will be sales on ships of that specific nation and bonuses applied to your ships with the winning nations camo applied. its the first link on the news section of the wows homepage.

The ones with red or orange are still much too bright but the blue/green & blue/blue look good.
