How to hit bow Citadal?

have unlock Yamato for a while and it is rather struggling when all the enemies are bow facing you, firing HE, and setting yamato on fire like crazy.

Where should I aim to increase the chance of getting a bow citadal, especially against Zao and DM ?

Aim at there main batteries, you might be able to knock some of them out.

Plus, the Yamato does a lot of damage due to the caliber of the guns even while not hitting citadels.

You just point and shoot. The Yamato lolpens everything.

Don't aim at the very tip of the bow, usually thats just empty space/quarters that don't really deal much damage to a ship in WoWs, I would personally recommend aiming for the turret section (hull included) for a potential good hit.
