IMO WG has made a categorical blunder in not making a mission / event around this raid and either award Campbeltown as a reward or sell her for it.

Was the plan on the EU server but they didn't manage to test her enough.

Since VC is roughly equivalent to the CMoH and about as difficult to get, this puts the heroism and bravery of the british commandos involved in Operation Chariot into perspective .... As well as the grave injustice of WGNA not speaking of it with even a single word.

 

I'm rather pessismistic that WGNA will also not do anything for the centennial of Jutland, come May 31st of this year.

Jeremy Clarkson is a fantastic presenter, no matter what subject.  Speaking of him, is anyone else excited for Amazon's big-budget version of Top Gear premiering later this year?

 

Back on topic, was I the only one hoping Campbeltown's appearance in-game would more closely reflect that of her final mission? (masquerading as a German destroyer)  Some drastically increased ramming damage wouldn't hurt either...

I also feel it is a shame that WGNA didn't at least post something about this raid. The EU site did a great job detailing the raid and also made a pretty cool wallpaper for it as well.
