The start of the Russian cruiser line was an interesting and fun experience.  I put together a ship review video for the tier 2 Russian Novik cruiser which highlights the ships strengths and weaknesses.  The gameplay portion of this video captures our early experiences of the ship and the analysis portion provides some good guidance into how to best maximize your success in the ship.  Let me know what you all think.

Ok ... I'm gonna be completely honest, since that's what you seem to be asking.

 

I watched several of your videos a few weeks ago, and though I do enjoy the commentary and analysis, I got really Really, REALLY annoyed by you going 'the taaaaste' like 12 times every video. Have you stopped doing that? Then I will watch more of your videos and enjoy them as well.

 

Again, the content of your videos and your commentary is good - apart from that one 'gimmick' that just annoyed the crap out of me.

Thanks for the constructive criticism.  I am glad that you enjoy the content outside of that.  I have cut back on that, and yeah I changed the intro as well for that very reason.

Yeah I have a Bogatyr video coming out Wednesday I believe.  I loved that ship.

Agree with Lert. Like the content, not a fan of the gimmick.

 

Novik I sold. Meh.

Bogatyr I kept, though I am still not decided if I like it more than St. Louis and Aurora, but it is a good ship.

I am liking the Svietlana more than most commenters it seems (torps are good). I kept it. Kirov? Not sure yet if I'm going to keep.

Outside of the shell loft, I liked this ship.  Overall I still like it better than the Chester and the Dresden.

I have not started the Russian cruiser line yet so I am glad to see these videos before I give them a go.

The Novik will help prepare players for the Atlanta, Cleveland, and US DD shell arcs. All tier 2 cruisers have horrible arcs, IIRC. That's why I sold them ASAP.
