The only real money I spent for myself was captain retraining and Tirpitz + module uninstall. Putting money into a game you, or I enjoy is fine but when you're given balance to a few through game mechanics and others get [edited] it isn't balance. Cruiser game play doesn't work because cruisers don't get enough time to live to do enough damage as is needed to earn credits and exp or a place worth of a fleet past tier 8. Heavy Cruisers, for as long as they can live should be able to do damage to the enemy but this there's no stat that really gives them this as a class, it's luck. With current HE, AP Torp mechanics, As far as I can see Heavy Cruiser cannot do this like BB and DD. Tier 10 in Hindenburg commander exp isn't worth it. I played till tier 10 with non premium except a few gifted days. I've played cruiser for at least half a year. it's never rewarding but maybe this is just me. Other cruiser captains speak up. I don't think heavy cruiser are viable in high tier with the current mechanics, we don't live long enough to do anything until its late game and by late game it's already over. Having ant-air doesn't work when there are NO CV! We spec into AA and don't get CV so we get [edited]. We try and spec DPS but DD don't get caught because there are NO CV and they don't spot them. BB destroy us no matter what we spec. When I play CA every game is either I feel I did my part or I did nothing. I've played WoWs for some time but the class I imagined doesn't do the work in the time a normal games lasts so in the end why play it? why be fast and powerful in game when a BB are just as fast and has more power? Why be slower than a DD when you're less stealthy and don't get the opportunity like they do? It seems like a class that is only strong where there exists CV who don't come or even in game don't factor in to the game. You know I've played half a year and I completely agree with you 100%. Thing is WHY! why are heavy cruiser so scared? What do we have to gain be cowering in the back where we can't shoot anything for the first half a game and how is that fun for the class? How are cruiser high tier a FUN class most of the time? Because of the Battleships and repair costs If you run a DD or BB in high tiers you make money even with no premium most of the times because of the alpha damaga that the BBs and DDs output But cruisers have a big chance to be insta-deleted in a few seconds so people play passive to not pay 250k for nothing and the alpha damage of a cruiser in high tier game is lower, That if you're not a Zao. I'm about 3,500 matches into it now and I feel I can kinda compete with my high tier cruisers. It's not really great fun and lol'z though. I had a 4k XP game the other night with 185,000 damage (Des Memes). Next match did like 8k and died under 5 minutes. The damage potential of T10 ships is incredibly high. And cruisers are the prey. I had fun most of the time when i was grinding the IJN line , ibuki was a bad ship but still had a little fun, 80% of the time IJN line was fun and the Zao is fun I am already 80k away from the Hindenburg and almost all of the Roon games ware fun but i didn't like the Hipper But i am thinking about credits when i press play with any high tier cruiser because i need to do damage to not lose money when i die First thing that you must do in high tiers is to do damage and not play passive, shoot everthing that dosen't shoot at you Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

You also need to have quicker judgement than other class and monitor the situation constantly, make up your mind to engage or disengage every time a thing change. I use, and have specced Fubuki for invisi-fire. Works well. I don't have high-tier BB (my highest BB is T7) but I am not scared of them in Fubuki or Kagero (obviously), and can hold my own against Iowa/Izumo if not alone in the fight. I feel like I do very well in my Hipper, Yorck, Myoko, Mogami, and do a servicable job in my Ibuki and Hindenburg. You pretty much have to expect that anytime your broadside is facing an enemy, your going to be citadelled to death. If you play that way, you can be a contributor to your team.
