when i started playing this game i could rack up gold point like mad   200-400 a mission    now  i'm getting good.  sink 4 ships cap a base ,etc  and end up with 35 or so points ????????  and  i'm on premium too     .     if i cant rack up point to convert   whats the sense to get gold for     these guys just stupid tight on the gameplay , and dont get me started on the remarkable cat like reflexes of the bots / accuracy   abilty to turn and speed up on a dime    shoot at two diff targets at once . see thu smoke   yada yada yada   . i hit a dd with a warspite main gun   0 damage inflicted ??????  i like the dissappearing ships at .5 km bit too and reappear 3 km away ?       what the use of 4 fighters or spotters  when it take over 20 min to even use them all      oh well  thats capitalism   go back to candy crush

HEY OP, the real money is in Random Battles. Co-Op is for training not for grinding, real players can be a challenge and really dumb. But random can be a fun place to make "points".

let me rephrase   did anything change in the way points are accumulated   i haven't changed the way i play but now it takes lots more time to get same amount of points in any type of gameplay

I had a Captain D's fish sandwich.  It was hellibad.  There is a perfectly good reason why I haven't been there in two years.  When I say it sucked, I mean it REALLY sucked.  The fish was very greasy and the fries were old and nasty.  I ended up throwing away the bun and just eating the fish, but it was gross.  If I EVER, and I mean EVER talk about getting anything from Captain D's again, slap me hard with an iron and direct me to this post.

I don't think they have changed the way points are rewarded. Generally damaging ships that are higher tier give move reward, also damaging a higher percentage of the ship HP will give more points, finally capturing flags and/or defending flags from capture gives a lot of rewards. If you are a tier 6 and fighting tier 4 or 5 ships you can expect to receive less then equal tier or higher. But spending a lot of time in Co-op is wasting your premium, you are not able to gain as much if you were playing random battles and doing well.

Adding onto this, Premium ships such as HMS Warspite OP mentioned, earn more Credits and free XP (assuming this is what the "Gold Points" OP referred to are). Also winning or lossing changes how much you earn.

Points have not changed however the points increase when you play Randon, Ranked, etc. Co-op never provided much points. You need to leave the dark side and engage with the rest of the player base.

free xp... to get a lot of free xp you should either have a daily mission rewarding you with 500 free xp, completing it will show you the free xp as if you earned it in the battle, or you should have some sort of xp boosts, like premium time + xp flags + xp camo + x1.5 - x3 bonus for the first win on a good game can give you a lot of xp, 18k-19k and more, and it can give you ~1k free xp (0.9k for 18k xp i believe)

 

if i am not mistaken free xp it's 5% of your earned xp

Pls share whatever it is you are smoking. A Warspite doesn't even have torps.

 

Also, as was mentioned above, stop playing PvE if you want real XP gains.

If you are playing co-op, that is normal. Co-op does not earn much exp. In addition, how did you get 2 flooded? Warspite does not even have torps. You rammed 2 ships?

So you got 200 base XP. Were you hitting higher or lower tier ships? Big ships or little ships? How much damage did you do? (sinking ships doesn't earn much if they didn't have much HP when you shot them, and killing planes gives very little XP)

 

Depending on your answers, all seems in order.
