The match started and I pushed north in support of a pair of DD's.  As the DD's entered the area (Near the B-1 lines); A enemy Cleveland, Kutuzov, and another cruiser (I don't recall the type) engaged us. Our DD's went down (though not without a fight), I lost half my HP, and it seemed like a prudent choice for me to "tactically withdraw" (Read; Get out, and not get what's left of my butt shot off!).

I managed to survive making the 180 degree turn to the south, and headed straight down the 2 line with the bad guys in hot pursuit, and me making small course/speed changes only to avoid enemy shells ("duck, bob, and weave" as I have been taught by the posts here in the forums and YT videos).

At my max 29ish (while dodging), the Cleves 32.5, and the Kutuzov's 33 knot speeds; it was only a matter of time until they ran me down.

You were sitting there near the H-2 lines, minding your own business, and pretty much in a position that makes me think that you hadn't moved since the spawn (Were you AFK? Did you lose your ISP? or maybe; You were just content to just sit back in the peace and quiet enjoying a Pina Colada on a bridge wing (?).  I don't know what first alerted you to the fact that there was "a lot of bad" coming your way, was it the sound of my only remaining aft 8" firing in defiance as I sailed past you? it could've been your warning that torpedoes were inbound (probably from the Kutuzov), or just maybe it was the sound  of your secondary guns returning fire?  You ate a full spread of torps, took a lot of gunfire, and sank.

Anyway; As the Topic title says;  I crashed your party; You got killed; Sorry.

PS If it's any consolation; They got me before you had even slipped under the waves.

Note: After observing this battle; my wife stated: "You really brought a lot of bad his way",  she sort of prompted me to share here simply for the humor.

Interesting story o3o, I have the strangest desire to want more, even though I have next to no reason to why I want it.

My team mate calls them "involuntary meatshields" but it works the same.  Love scraping past a BB as the torps are chasing my tail...  :teethhappy:
