computer question

a couple months ago I got an asus gaming computer, have been playing wows directly to the site, but the computer has nivdia GeForce Experience on it, the couple times I tried to go into it, seamed real slow to open but the question is, is there any advantage to playing wows thru GeForce instead of coming directly to the site, thanks

For best performance, WoWs handles all of the graphical issues itself. Allowing your computer's graphic system to handle WoWs is the wrong way to setup.

 

Abandon the custom issues you may have implemented your graphics card to handle WoWs.

Or...setup your graphics card to never enhance WoWs...leaving all option default-

Come to think of it and glad you mentioned it....I just checked my Radeon settings and found some things that just may raise some conflicts...gonna dial it down and retest.

thanks for the info, I have not tried to play with ge and wows set my graphics the 1st time I played with the compute, so I will leave it alone, thanks again

​I wouldn't use the default wows settings unless it put you up at ultra.

Certain items are FPS hogs (Shadows, reflections) have OFF, if you need performance (Post Processing should suck FPS but it doesn't seem to, most things you can leave at max.

I used to run this with an old 5770 also.
