My 380 foot long Fubuki can be effectively covered with smoke, her slow speed also helps her to stay covered, while my 460 foot long Tashkent has a much more difficult time staying in smoke, even at a slower speed because she is 80 foot longer, it makes it easier for her to poke out of the smoke screen. I also think she decelerates a bit slower, probably due to her displacing 1000 tons more. Wouldn't it make sense if a larger ship could put out more smoke? Also maybe higher tier destroyers could put out better, or longer smoke even if by only a few tens of seconds longer.

I'm sure someone smarted can quote the actual numbers.

If you have to use smoke, it's because you either screwed up and got flanked or the CV has a hard on for you. In the case of the latter, just alt tab out and complain on the forums. You're not going to survive. The use case for offensive use of smoke has been eliminated.
