I know these will most likely never happen but I was looking through ships the RN never got around to building and found some really cool ones like:

Hms Incomparable class Battlecruiser

The N3 class Battleships

CVA-01

And the like, so I was wondering what ships you guys were interested in too.

CVA-01? No, too modern.

N3 - Almost definitely, tier 9 Slow BB

Incomparable - No, Yamato's 18.1" guns are the biggest, unless WG change it.

Don't forget Project V6 Super Shimakaze.

But there would be almost zero difference between Super Shimakaze and Shimakaze...

Maybe like 10m better turning radius, that's it.

The Incomparable class would be the truly ultimate example of a glass cannon, a massive 1000 foot long Hull, dwarfing even the Montana in length, and having armour barely able to handle destroyer shells, and would be easily damaged by 6in shells from light cruisers...o3o...sounds scary.

I wish they'd finished Furious with both 18" guns rather than how it was finished with the forward one removed & replaced with a flying off deck, at least just so that they could take some beauty shots of her that way before making the change.

Battlecruiser Saratoga.  We have the Lexington class as it's eventual configuration as an aircraft carrier, but it could be fun to see what it was like to sail around in the Lexington and Saratoga if they had been built in their intended role as the US Navy's first battlecruiser.  Big 16" guns, 33 knot speed, but only 180mm of armor, less even than the Kongo/Ishizuchi battlecruisers in the game already.

I would guess it would be best to put the BC Saratoga in tier VII, the same tier as the similarly armed USS Colorado.  The difference then would be speed or armor between the two ships to cross compare.  However, it might also be Ok to be in Tier VI opposite the New Mexico.  With that little armor you won't be winning any gun duels against a battleship, even one with only 12 inch guns like Wyoming if you get into a Tier 4-5-6 game as a top tier ship.
