I really want to buy a Kutuzov, now that it is on sale here at the NA "red-headed step" server.

However, it seems that I am unable to get the money out of my wallet.

Apparently, it has been super-glued shut!

I wonder who did that:

https://eu.wargaming.net/shop/wows/specials/

Kutuzov   NA:  $49.99  EU:  $41.99

Tirpitz     NA:  $70       EU:   $50

The price gouging is REAL!

That's right, it was WG.  I totally forgot.  My bad.

Are you trying to make the purchase from the EU server?

Think he is more saying that over here on the NA server you can only buy it in a bundle, in the EU you can buy it without a bundle.

Cheapest prices in NZD (sorry in NZ and only see NZD)

EU: $62.75

NA: $74.71 (only in a bundle)

41.99 Euro's =  $46.88   I'm assuming currency exchange fee for the extra $2.22

50Euros = $55.82     $5.82 fore exchange fee....

doesn't seem like they use the same exchange rates or the packages have different items.

Oh ok. I'm seeing the edits now. Considering I paid $50 on a Yang, I was ok getting the MK + gold at the same $50 price tag.

I thought the Arpeggio of Blue Steel event forever closed your wallet.

I can't blame you for wanting to open it again -- I mean, the Mikhail Kutuzov is a good ship -- definitely better than the Chapayev.  It remains to be seen how cruiser gameplay shifts in the next six months to see if she truly embodies for Soviet Cruisers what the Gremyashchy does for Soviet Drestroyers.

I'll be honest, that kutuzov bundle is looking nice to me for one reason alone, give me those 50 zulu flags... too bad I already have the mik though.

Can't possibly be anything on value in that package which raises the price... nope totally impossible. Only possible explanation is conspiracy and theft. Also after LWM's screencap, you get no sympathy from me when complaining about prices.

the prices on different servers depend the economics of those countries

the prices on the russian server are low because the course of rouble took a deep plunge not that far ago, and it doesn't mean that their internal prices all immediately raised to match the old rouble-dollar ratio, albeit they did raise somehow... i think there is a similar situation on the eu server

btw steam sells games much cheaper for some regions too

Canada is an oil economy (or treated as such by currency markets) our dollar has also plunged badly lately........

As a cruiser main I am kinda torn by the MK, looks good and Russian cruisers certainly seem well rounded perhaps boasting several best for tier ships, but again, does WG actually play tier 8+ cruisers??

Yeah, be glad you don't live in Australia or New Zealand.  The markup is something else.  There was even some campaigns a couple of years back to sponsor gifting games to Aussies and Kiwis through Steam to help them out.  It is a bit of shame, though, that the NA Region's prices are based solely on the US Economy.  I mean, I understand why, but it's still a shame for some of our players that live in Brazil.

I'm curious, Autism -- how did you get your Anshan?
