I'm getting tired of losing due to awful teammates while playing very well in nearly every game. What ship can carry a team the best?

In terms of ease and impactfulness lately for me its been US DD's but I must preface that by saying I put a 14point former BB captain into a tier 3 :D

Mahan, Kiev, Gremyashchy, Arkansas, Fuso, Zuiho... probably others if you're particularly adept with their strengths. Pretty much anything which is some combination of fast, hard to kill, and reliable for damage output (this rules out ships like Myogi since even though your six guns are the biggest at-tier, you're the most likely to suffer from a bad RNG spell).

Your first goal is to survive, your second is to understand the overall situation on the map: sometimes you're a few minutes away from a decisive outcome and if you can realize that ahead of time, you can influence how it unfolds. Obviously, you can't do any of that if you've sunk.

(Edit to add) One thing I've noticed is that calling out what you see can help your mediocre teammates to remain focussed. "We're ahead on points, if we can avoid losing ships we're in great shape." "They had two ships out east last we saw, we could use a cruiser back at our cap to slow them down." "All three of their destroyers have been seen to the northwest." Remain positive, and if you can't be positive then be neutral. Negativity is cathartic while positivity can be difficult; both are contagious, so be mindful of what attitude you're sowing. Wins don't get carried on the backs of disgruntled teammates.

Sometimes, i feell that DDs are the ship class that has the most impact on the outcome of the battle.

Yeah. It's one of the best (or perhaps, easiest) ways to secure the trifecta of survivability (via concealment & dodging), mobility, and reliable damage. The trick is that your survivability depends upon the enemy's disposition. If they aren't spread out or thinned out, you're going to have a hard time of it. That's why sometimes I ask destroyer teammates to play conservatively for the first half of a match—they can be far more potent later on, and oftentimes the threats to destroyers at the start of a match are numerous.

Isokaze, Minekaze, Murmansk, Kongo, Bogatyr, Clemson, Umikaze... of  the ships you play.

A really good CV captain can make or break a team that doesn't have good AA cover.

I find that I have the greatest impact on a match when I'm in a US dd. They are great at map control and if you are good with them they can light up any ship on the enemy team.

IJN DD T4-5.  You won't have to be a victim of campers again.

You can now victimize them.

I think any decent US strike CV (after taking out the competition) and a IJN CV with balanced/strike loadouts can controll a game

Zuhio comes to mind for me

also any good DD player, through map controll not through dmg as much

No ship is capable of carrying a team the best.

No player can carry a team (although some do very well).

The 'carrying ship/team' is the one that kills the other team faster and more completely.

It is unfortunate that the WoWS MM appears to be biased and just as broken as the MM in WoT.

It is unfortunate that there are so many 'Sardines swimming to the Slaughter'.

Intelligence is not a pre-requisite to l play this game.

I'm getting tired of losing due to awful teammates while playing very well in nearly every game. What ship can carry a team the bes

I used to play allot of CA's and BB's and a pinch of DD.  But then I found the IJN CV and have not looked back.  I still occasionally play with the premium ships in my port but my home ships are all IJN CV's.  I've completely dominated games whereby there was a newb enemy cv pilot or just an average one.  I consider myself rather good in my CV of choice.  I've carried an entire game on my back.  Giving instructions to teammates while also doing my share of the killing.  If I played to pad my stats I would have a 65% win record :) LOL!  But I like to F*ck around allot until the weekend comes and then its about business.

You want to control a game.  Then Become a CV pilot or a really good DD pilot.  Get plenty of smoke and turbo if your a DD pilot and look to control the map rather than killing. :)  And get ready to break out the credit card if you want to Get to a high tier in your CV.  My T8 CV camo cost 3000 Doubloons.  I use the same IJN capt with all my CV's.  So I spend 500 to retrain every time I move him.  He has about 300k XP.

COMMUNICATE Early!  Most CV pilots don't talk to their team.  Tell the what your going to do or what you need them to do EARLY.  The good players will respect that and you'll separate the losers from the winners instantly.  The CV is the Capt. on the team despite all the bigheads out there that think they run stuff.  But there are good pilots out there that have great strategy to listen to so never think you can't take suggestions in battle.

Don't play drunk or high either:) LOL!  Then if you get a crap team, your never going to be able to float the bill:)  I've tried driving My cv's drunk and even though I don't do miserable, I could do waaaay better and the multi tasking becomes a nightmare while under the influence.  Gives me a headache and kills my buzz if I try to play hard.

Loooooong story short bro... Yu want to carry a team then be a leader.  Be sharp and punctual.  Don't talk to people crazy or be that guy who sticks around after he's dead B*tching about how crap his team was.  Be grown and responsible:))  You'll always find yourself in a close loss or a solid win if you follow these rules.  And if you want to pad your stats, then don't be like me and have any fun with ships you don't really know how to use.  Like me firing torps in my kamikaze while driving full speed into an Atlanta:)) LOL  Good luck to you and all that get something from my post:)

you can carry easier at lower tier,     T2,  you can use umikaze or dresden  (I use emden and have decent WR)        t3, bogatyr or st louis,  T4, isokaze or imp,  5 Murmansk, kamikaze/minekaze   .  gets tougher at 6 but anshan is strong.

Battleships!

BBS are the most poorly played class in the game.  You learn how to play one halfway decently and you will carry match after match.

I'll have to say IJN DD or high teir USN DD, due to the fact that is can do dmg while being not seen AKA Trops.

Unless there are enemy DD in the water, you have all the time and opportunity to plan and approach the enemy.

Speaking on behalf of your awful teammates we are so relieved that you are finally willing to step up and shoulder the responsibility of carrying the load for us instead of merely doing very well.

Kudos to you.

I presume by doing very well you mean you are doing loads of damage to the enemy and racking up credits and experience points.  Mayhap if you used your awesome talents to aid your team in accomplishing some of the other mission objectives you would improve your win rate.  Well, maybe not.  You do not seem to be interested in working with the team so much as railing against their short comings.  Just my take on it.  I'm surely in error this time.  I get things wrong once in a while.
