Battleship Torpedo Bulges

So battleships have torpedo bulges that reduce torpedo damage, what percentage of damage is reduced for each ship.  For example, the Yamato's torpedo bulge will reduce torpedo damage by like 50 something percent, but how does a Fuso or Nagato's bulge reduce damage.

Torpedo bulges do affect how torpedoes will do against a enemy ship, though I am personally not sure how much they will affect damage.

i thought they only effected flooding chance...not sure...i do know that the angle that a torpedo strikes is tied to damage, a glancing blow is not as damaging as a perpendicular hit.

Striking a torpedo bulge has the effect of moving the HE blast of the torpedo away from your hull. How much effect a bulge will have depends on the caliber of the offending torpedo, the thickness of your armor, and the space of your bulge. It's not a fixed ratio.

Yamato very huge bulges could reduced torpedoes hit by 55% the strongest in-game right now.

 

Fuso with pre-ww2 refit torpedo bulges is similar to USN standard dreadnoughts, reduce torpedo hit by 33.9%

 

Nagato seems a bit down-grade, stock is 21.9% while fully upgraded 24.9%.

 

Flooding chance and damage get reduce depending on the % of TDS value give.
