New randoms tactic of choice?

Saw something different yesterday in randoms.   Several games in a row, (and on Tues too) BOTH teams milled around aimlessly in their own cap, for most of the match.  Every now and then, somebody would get impatient, and yolo off- to a quick death.  Meanwhile, the bulk of both teams are not only out of range, but out of sight.

Eventually, some mystery signal would be heard, and everyone on one team would head for the other cap.  The defending team would mill about aimlessly, or run away.

It was the weirdest thing!  I was in my NY, and saw this on Fault Line; North; and Solomons, off the top of my head.  Needless to say, the reds were out of range for me most of the game, and when we did go after em, they'd get focused down before I reloaded my second salvo.  Lol- even so so co-op payouts were looking good to me after a string of those games.

Is this the new "thing" for random matches?  Or did I get "lucky" with a string of weird games.  I'd expect the max range stuff at high tiers- but in tier 5/6 battles??

As an aside, I had one player in a Fuso NAIL an opposing BB for a one salvo kill.  Instead of being happy with it, he bitched about it in chat for a few minutes- roundly insulting the other player, and sounding all bitter...  Just can't please some people, I guess.  I bet he'd complain bitterly if he won the Powerball jackpot, too...

I'd complain if I won powerball actually...for the following reasons.

1. Taxes

2. Family and friends expecting handouts, especially the ones I haven't seen or talked to in years/decades.

With all my millions, I'd change my phone number, first thing!
