My WoWS Launcher suddenly not working

Well... It went well until yesterday.

I promise I did nothing to the client, no mod, no modification, no redirecting it, no windows update nothing!

It ran well yesterday just like other days.

Now suddenly today, the Launcher won't start. It shows up in process list on task manager but the window doesn't pop up.

I can start the client itself manually by pressing the exe file in program files but then as soon as new patch comes, I have to find a way to start launcher anyway.

So may I ask If anyone knows how to solve this? or had similar problems?

I had the same problem a couple patches back, I just uninstalled the game and reinstalled it, its been fine since...

yes I know that is not the preferred "IT guy" thing to do, but I'm not an IT guy...

I don't have nothing against reinstallation...

except for back-uping my aweful load of screenshots

and that my internet is not fast....

I can't seem to hit the server.  Was buggy this morning then ran fine.  Now I can't hit the server again at all or it appears to start then kicks me out.

Sounds like a config error.  I'd move the *.xml files into another folder and then try and get WoWs to regenerate them by running the launcher and client.  It might work, it might not...depends on whether these files are created during installation or when the client is first run.

Have you tried running under administrative privileges?

If possible, your virus scanner might have flagged the executable as virused and locked it down.

I have a quick trick for moving windows that are missing (if you have a multi-head setup)...hold the Windows Key, then Arrow left/right/up.  This moves the game window from one monitor to another (left/right) and maximizes it (up)
