1 abundantcores Members 2 posts Report post #1 Posted March 24, 2016 (edited) I got an email advertising Russian cruisers and thought i would give it another go, maybe they stopped placing my in a Tier 5 ship in Tier 8 battles constantly, maybe fixed the problem with DD's being invisible at 3KM with no smoke or anything in the way. I was actually confronted with a new problem, a third of the shots i put out and hit cause 0 damage, What the....? doesn't matter what ship it is or where it hits a lot of them just don't take any damaged off, i get a x3 hit ribbon but 0 points taken off the ship. I also found that active users are down about 70% since i last played and it wasn't much to start with. wonder why? You cant see tier 8 in a Tier 5 unless you are in a division with a 6, and DD's cant go invisible at 3k without smoke, and the 0 damage is because a target has had the spot you are shooting at saturated it has 0 HP left and you have to shoot at other parts of the ship... nice try though. MM has been +/-2 tiers for a long time now. 0 damage shots are either bounces off of armor or due to damage saturation. as for the population, its down a bit, but not 70%. population was generally around 11-12k each night until the last few weeks. now its around 10k. some new games have been released, plus the weather is getting better and people want to be outside i guess. Stop using HE on armor belts, stop using AP on heavily angled ships, and stop sailing in straight lines. You honestly should have just stayed away. People are pointing out your ignorance of game mechanics, that's not "defending it constantly". If you have a recent screenshot or better yet, replay evidence of your claims, post them. Yes, how can you have a T5 "constantly" placed against T8s when you have no battles played at all? Unless of course you are using someone elses account OR you have a second account. OR Wargaming might be partially to blame in not pushing out missions or events during the same time period that the population just so happens to have dipped to new lows. New games are always coming and going and if WG can't get their ducks in a row there will be more attrition. They should know it's not going to be permanent winter to keep us chained to our desks playing, they have to do stuff to make us want to play. They just come off sounding like [edited]reasons as to why they can't get it together and get the sag out of the player base. "Oh guys, lets not release our game, World of Warships is dipping in population..." Are people forgetting this lag in players also happens to be at the same time as they are advertising the title?
